James' Place @ Dowlais

Such a great place to stay. Wonderfully quirky decor, and very charmingly done. Good location for exploring the Beacons and all that we needed after a wet and windy day spent climbing Pen Y Fan. James is charming and no request was too small and I would certainly recommend his accommodation to anyone looking.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The place was beautiful, spotless and with everything I needed. Great attention to detail, including a pint of milk in the fridge and a pack of Welsh Cakes with cream and jam waiting for me when I got in after a long day at work. Would 100% stay again.

Stayed here for a couple of days for a mini-break. Excellent base of operations for some lovely walks in the Brecon Beacons. Great location with local shops, takeaways and restaurants all near by. The flat was well presented and very clean and tidy. James was great and when we had a slight issue, he came straight over to fix it. Would 100% stay there again.

Immaculate place. Owner's attention to details is extraordniary. All necessary commodities were available. There is a local shop right opposite the street. Free car park at the back with lots of spaces and a great view.

Clear instruction for self check-in. James also sent us few suggestions to explore local attractions.

Location is convenient if you are traveling to Brecon Beacons.

Really enjoyed our stay . Clean well equipped studio apartment out door space would be great in the warmer weather .Close to pen y fan and waterfalls lovely part of Wales.

I stayed for two nights, primarily for the purpose of running in the Brecons. This accommodation (Studio 5) was ideal, both in size and in location. The level of service was excellent. Pre-trip info and suggestions as to where to visit were great and the access/security arrangements were simple and effective. It is a clean, fresh and well appointed apartment, with everything i needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable, especially after a long day in the mountains and the shower was spot on (so many don’t quite work effectively).The hot drinks provision (including milk) and Welsh cakes were a nice touch and I’d definitely return in the future. Thank you.
