As for the last 4 years, we have been delighted with the accommodation at the Gatehouse. It's got everything you need to make your stay really good, comfortable, and in a position out of the way of the village, but close enough to walk to the shop or pub!
The owner, Mr Owens and his wife go out of their way to please with a welcome pack and a friendly chat on exchange of the keys. We would always recommend anyone to it, and we will be back.
Ps the whole place is spotlessly clean

Lovely place to stay. Have been 3 times and the wood burning stove is an added bonus. This little cottage has everything you need

The Landscape Photographer's Ideal Location
Quiet, remote, cosy and perfectly located for the coastal attractions. We arrived during Storm Dennis, but the roof stayed on with no issues. The Church in the Sea is just half a mile down the road and is perfect for sunset photography. About 200 yards from the Gatehouse is a trig point which makes a perfect foreground for nightscape photography. A lovely cottage, and well positioned for exploring Anglesey. Nowhere is too far away.

We spent 4 days here in November 22. Lovely cottage, quite remote. Logburner to keep you warm. Other heating provided if too cold but we didn't need it. Beach nearby for when it's warmer. We climbed Snowdon one day and did a coastal walk next day. Stunning scenery. All facilities provided to cook your own food. Everything you could need to cook a family meal. Even a washing machine. Local shop wirhin walking distance if you run out of anything. Pub and cafe in the village within walking distance. They also sell wood for the logburner at the shop. We bought wood in the shop but didn't have time/energy to go to the pub sadly. A lovely cosy base to come back to after exploring the island. Lots of maps and information books/leaflets at the property to help you get out and about. We've discovered a little gem here and will definitely be going back.
