Bunkhouse Ty Wern

Run by a lovely, friendly helpful family the bunkhouse has everything a mountain biker needs! Secure garage and wash facilities for the bikes. Inside is very modern and comfortable beds. 10 minute walk to shops/restaurants. Can't wait to return in the summer! Oh and a 20 minute cycle to the bike park 👌

Really nice family, After being letdown by a hotel Bunkhouse Ty Wern offered us (a group of 8) accommodation for our stay in Merthyr Tydfil. The room was very clean, well equipped and had plenty of space with secure parking. The price was good, the service was amazing and only a 10 minuet walk in to the town centre! I would recommend Bunkhouse Ty Wern to anyone. 5 out of 5!!

I stayed here with 4 friends for a long weekend mountain biking at bike park Wales, Afan forest and Forest of Dean. It was perfect for us, very comfortable, clean, modern and the garage with compressor, water hose and CCTV was great. We also had use of a driveway which we could close behind us. Shops and restaurants we're a 10 minute walk away so no taxi needed for dinner.

We had a great time and the hosts were wonderful people who provide great value for money accommodation. I highly recommend it and would use again.

Such a lovely bunkhouse to stay in- would highly recommend for groups or families. Within walking distance to town and shops, and the flat is very well equipped with secure parking. Great price and Diane was a lovely host. Even better than I could have imagined!

Stayed here with 6 friends after climbing the Welsh three peaks.. Absolutely fantastic place to stay, cannot fault the place! Beautifully done inside, spacious, has everything you need, and Diane was a wonderful house. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay if you're heading to the bike park or into the Beacons. Lovely and modern with all the facilities you need. Hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Gorgeous space! The lovely Diane is so welcoming, we loved her Welshcakes! Comes with everything you could possibly need. Equipped kitchen, fresh milk for teas and coffees. 2 beautiful bathrooms with fresh towels, and we loved watching movies on the Sky TV! Bunk beds are very comfortable as is the double bed. I enjoyed using the vanity unit, and sitting in the outside. Location is fabulous with everything you need on your doorstep. We will definitely be back again.

Lovely place, lovely owners. Really close to several key places such as Bike Park Wales. Would recommend.
