Oakdean Cottages in The Ribble Valley, Whalley

Lovely location and Ian and Sue where very welcoming and have a boss dog.
Great pub called the lord nelson a quick walk away or you can take the scenic route past the reservoir - we did that and met elvis the sheep.
It was very clean and modern, everything you need and access to some beautiful countryside

Calder Cottage was very comfortable and immaculately clean, very well equipped and in a lovely, quiet location. Owners Ian and Sue were welcoming and helpful. The Ribble Valley was as beautiful as I remembered it! We hope to return.

Ian & Sue, and Anna the Property Manger, were a delight to deal with; they made everything - enquiries, booking, arrival and departure - incredibly easy and ‘seamless’.

The property was wonderful; positioned in idyllic surrounds, it would have been easy to sit and relax in the perfectly manicured outdoor setting for the entire time, and conclude the day with a BBQ which was available to use

But Oakdean Cottages are ideally located to explore the Dales and other local and regional attractions which we did.

The Hodder Cottage was generously & tastefully furnished with a nod to high-tech in the management of property features, TV accessories and slick property entry and exit. The kitchen had everything you’d need for a self sufficient stay with high quality appliances and all the utensils you could ever need.

Alternatively, you can make a short drive and eat locally which we enjoyed doing on a number of occasions

Couldn’t rate our stay more highly and would unreservedly recommend to any family, friend or colleague planning to stay in the region.

Just returned to Essex after a fantastic stay at Oakdean cottages. Three of us shared Ribble cottage which was modern, very clean and comfortable.
The modern interiors are lovely with plenty of storage space in the two bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed including dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. The owners had kindly left us milk fruit juice and plenty of ice to enjoy our gin and tonic on the sunny patio! Thanks for a great stay we really enjoyed our walking holiday which ended with us climbing the nearby Pendle Hill on a clear day, we enjoyed the fantastic scenery in this part of Lancashire.

Outstanding. Immaculately clean with quality furniture and appliances. Beautiful grounds and a lovely walk to Dean Clough reservoir from the property. Owners are friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. This was our second visit and we will certainly visit again.

We had another excellent stay at Hodder Cottage recently, when we returned to the Clitheroe area for a weekend. It was so nice to come back to a warm welcome and a very comfortable cottage. So good to see Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside again, especially in sunshine (some of the time!). Thanks to Ian, Sue and Anna.

Absolutely amazing stay at Oakdean cottages, we had the best Christmas stay here. Ian,Sue and Anna were super welcoming and nothing was an hassle.
This is the second time staying here and we will be back again soon.

Our family of 4 fit perfectly in this well appointed modern cottage. We had such a nice and cozy Christmas away from home here. Sue and Ian were very welcoming and even set up a Christmas tree for us! Would stay here again.
