Absolutely loved it here! Beautiful setting. Great hosts and cute animals! Loads of places to go walking and a great fry up to refuel!

We have just returned from a weeks stay here with a 2 year old while visiting family in the area. Had a fantastic time and Diane and Jim were brilliant hosts, they could not have done more for us. The accommodation was lovely and the animals in the garden were a great source of entertainment for our son. We would definitely stay again!

Just returned from a lovely stay. Wanted a relaxing get away with my daughter for her birthday and we got exactly that! The facilities are excellent, very clean comfortable rooms, fab hot tub, delicious breakfast and of course friendly hosts and animals! We had a reiki treatment which was super relaxing. Thanks so much Diane and Jim! X

Stayed in adjacent poppy cottage. It had everything you want for a self catering cottage with excellent views and a friendly pig.

We stayed at Poppy Cottage (self catering) and it was wonderful. Myself, my two young adult children, my mum and my dog.
The cottage was immaculately clean with ground floor facilities for my disabled mum. Has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Beautiful artwork and niknaks gave it a true homely feel. The couch was large and comfy and the cuddle chair was a hit with my son.
A secure garden at the back with patio set, BBQ, fire and a hot tub. Lovely for sitting out with just the sound of the wind in the trees and the animals in the fields. Absolutely delightful place with a gorgeous view from every window. Doris the pig even came to say goodbye as we were packing up the car.
Hosts were incredible in terms of communication and assistance and so friendly.
I can highly recommend Poppy Cottage if you want a peaceful and relaxing break. Also, great for anyone living a vegan lifestyle, as it is not a working farm 👍. So you get to see the animals but can rest assured that they are living their best lives under the kind, watchful eyes of Jim and Diane.
