Perfect place for a break if you're visiting the Lake District.
Firstly the location is brilliant, South Lakeland Leisure Village is only 20 minutes away from the southern end of the Lake District and very easy to get to being only 5 minutes from the M6.
Waternook Lodge is in a perfect location overlooking a small, quiet lake. The onsite pub and restaurant is brilliant for all ages as well as the swimming pool and gym.
The lodge itself is extremely spacious, clean and peaceful. The lodge looked to be only a few years old and in an impeccable condition. The 3 bedrooms had ample space for 6, with 2 of the bedrooms having walk in wardrobes and one having an ensuite. The kitchen, living area and dining area had all the equipment you'd need for your holiday. The washing machine was particularly handy after a muddy walk. My favourite feature of the lodge was the spacious verander which we all enjoyed sitting out on and having dinner outside in the sun.
Collecting the keys was effortless and the lodge had been cleaned to an inch of its life which is brilliant given the Covid-19 circumstances.
I would like to thank the owners (I can't remember their names sorry) for an amazing time away and we will certainly be booking again for our next visit!

We stayed here for a long weekend in October 2020 and had a wonderful time. The lodge is spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The park in which it is set is attractive with an onsite pub, restaurant, gym, pool and spa.
With many great places nearby and the lakes on your doorstep this is the perfect getaway. Could not recommend staying here highly enough, perfect WiFi and access to Netflix were icing on the cake!

An absolutely stunning lodge. It certainly has the wow factor!! Modern and immaculate. We have had an incredible stay here. A perfect location to enjoy a break that can be completely relaxing or a brilliant base to explore local nearby attractions. I cannot reccomend this lodge more highly! It was everything we could have wished for and more. A massive thank you to the owner for allowing us to stay and enjoy time their lodge 😊 We cannot wait to return!
