I cannot fault this place. This was the first time that we had ever stayed in a lodge, and it did not disappoint. We were initially worried that there would be a lack of facilities and amenities, as Finlake is quite far out into the sticks. However the lodge was kitted out with all of the mod cons, including a washer and dryer, coffee machine and dishwasher. In fact they had more gizmos in the kitchen than we have at home! Finlake itself is a nice and peaceful holiday resort, and the lodge is right on the resort so there is plenty to do. We got a pass for the health club and spent the weekend pampering ourselves. When we got back to the lodge we had a dip in the hot tub with a nice glass of wine. It was a really lovely experience, and we'd definitely do it again. The family and I spent a weekend here at the beginning of the month for my wife's birthday. The lodge and local area had everything we needed to entertain the kids, but also relax ourselves. There were 2 Xboxes with loads of different games (unfortunately this still didn't stop them arguing), a huge pile of DVD and the kids even got the board games out which was surprising to see. We had a couple of great evenings playing games before chilling out in the hot tub once the kids went to bed. Would definitely come here again and cannot recommend it highly enough to other people who are considering going.

Myself & children had the pleasure of staying in this stunning lodge, communication with the owners was easy & prompt. The lodge its self is perfect, a real home from home in relaxing settings, parking very close & a hot tub with lovely views outside. Quite honestly the nicest lodge we have had the pleasure of staying in 😊

My family stayed at this beautiful lodge in september, the lodge was spotless the owners make sure you have everything you need. It is in a great position on the park. We loved the hot tub and went in every day, we would highly recommend this beauiful place.

We stayed at Number 9 in Oct 22, and found the accommodation to be very clean, comfortable and a great set up for a Devon family break. We also had great comms by the owners whose emails and information were spot on and really comprehensive. Would highly recommend.

This has to be one of the best self catering properties I have ever stayed at, will be returning. Set in Finlake park a lovely Log cabin. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Dog friendly. Incredibly well equipped kitchen, pots, pans, modern microwave, full cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine & dishwasher. TV, with Netflix etc. Stacks of DVDs, plus a playstation that if you know how to use it 🤣 will keep the kids entertained. Deck area with patio set & a hot tub, which was absolutely fabulous. Lots of squirrels & birds visit the deck area which entertained us for a while. There is a spa, pools, bar & restaurant on site. Lots of walks and adventures to be had in the woods. Great locations for beaches and exploring. The owner is very helpful & wants to ensure you have a great stay. Thank you Lodge Nine for a blissfully quiet five days away. Just what we all needed.

3 kids , 2 adults , 1 dog all loved this place. From the PlayStations (kept kids entertained) to the hot tub (kept us all entertained) to the beautiful surroundings( squirrel watching kept the dog entertained) . Finlake site is beautiful and the pool was great fun . Usually taking a dog on holiday you end up compromising on something ,may it be the higher costs or decor , but not @LodgeNine . The house is lovely , the price was fab and the dog walks were great . They had everything we needed , even dog bowls ! The owners checked in voa text several times over the holiday and were on hand to answer any questions we had. Despite the torrential rain we had an awesome stay . Such a wonderful break! The lodge is heavenly as is the hot tub. It’s a lovely place to relax and recharge. It’s 20-60 mins drive to lots of attractions. You have access to the water park gym and swimming pool. My plan is to go there regularly as I find it so comforting and relaxing. Thankyou
