I booked this as a surprise for my wife's 30 Birthday and couldn't have been happier with how it went and the service provided by Lance and his team. The house is very well equipped for large groups with a huge kitchen and all the necessary equipment (including a huge oven!). On top of that the cinema is great to have for a chilled night-in and the pool (even in winter) good fun. We had two dogs who loved it as well and very good setup. There is lots to do nearby and fantastic beaches within a short drive.
Lance was a fantastic host, there to greet us, explain everything and also on hand whenever we had a question.
The surroundings are stunning and vineyards make for a dramatic backdrop and walks. The winery and gin visitors centre are an even greater addition and will be spectacular once finished. Lance and his wife are clearly passionate about both and are great ambassadors for the brand.

Wonderful and peaceful setting. It was possible to still have a great time there even though the weather wasn't great and Lance is a genial and interesting host. Would recommend for a family gathering as there is loads of space to enjoy.

Our multigenerational family just spent a lovely week at the farmhouse in the middle of January, and it was absolutely perfect! Lance was so accommodating and had everything set up for us, and has a really warm, jovial, laid-back attitude - you really feel like you have been welcomed into their vineyard family! The house had everything for a 1 year old and some 80 year olds, plus the odd dog! The large kitchen has every possible appliance you could need so if you are a budding masterchef you can cook to your heart's content. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved sitting around playing Rummikub with the log fire in the evening. The house had a wholesome touch to it, and nearly nothing was plastic. All wood, stone and glass. There is a good sound system in the main room so bring your own CDs (if you still have some), next to a bookcase with some classics in there and some boardgames. The estate is simply stunning, if you like sunsets and stargazing then this is the place! Lance gave us a tour of the distillery too, and his anecdotes of vineyard life has really made me question if I might just sell everything and move to a farm!
