Myself and my friend had a really nice overall experience. Nothing to complain about. Quite the opposite actually. The rooms were fresh and clean and very reasonably priced.
Stuart, the owner and host was more than accommodating. He picked us up from the station, dropped us into town in the evening AND again, gave us a lift to the station when we checked out. This really contributed to a great experience. When you don't have to wait for busses with heavy bags and arrive into town tired, it matters.
Stuart also provided very sound suggestions as to where to hang out in the evenings and provided lots of information for the local area, a wonderful pub 15 minutes walk away and a fabulous farm shop we had a cracking lunch in.
If you're in Kendal and are looking for a smart comfortable and welcoming bnb. Look no further.

Idyllic place to stay in a very convenient location! We stayed on the way through with our 1-year-old son and were not only provided with all amenities (crib, fridge, kettle...) necessary, but also welcomed warmly by the host and entertained with its own chickens (who aside from entertaining the child gave delicious eggs for breakfast!) . Would stay again anytime when in the area! Very clean room and bathroom as well!

Great B&B, The host was very accomadating and very friendly. Rooms are clean and to a good standard and food was equally good. All in all a very good place to stay and i would reccomend to anyone. I would defintly stay here again. Thanks

Stayed here for a week, the cottage has recently been redecorated by Stuart the owner, really friendly. Ideal location for a holiday in the lakes, close enough by car to windermere 15 minutes or by bus if you feel inclined and far enough away from the busy tourist areas. Would recommend

My motorbike had broken down near this property. The host was more than happy to let me store my bike on his property for a couple of days until I could return. He made me a brew while I arranged with my partner to meet me. Really, really much appreciated thank you so much

Lovely place just outside of Lake District. The rooms are big and cozy and service is unbeatable. We had a great time there and definitely will be back!
