The cottages are beautiful and the rooms are lovely! Such a nice area to stay for a family weekend away, right near a river for some swimming! Big lounge area in one of the cottages where we all convened of an evening. Also a big dining room where we could all have dinner together. We had a beautiful time here - the only comment I would make is that although the place is pet friendly (we brought a small dog) there are a lot of signs all over the properties telling you that dogs are NOT allowed upstairs/on furniture etc. Of course we followed these reasonable rules but the amount of signs just made us feel a little bit on edge.. otherwise a fantastic stay!

Beautiful rural cottage, we have loved working with Dolgadfa and Bala Holiday Cottages. The owners are fantastic and this house is well worth a visit.

Beautiful accomodation and surroundings but a lovely week over Christmas was rather spoiled by the attitude of the owners around what we felt was an unreasonably early and inflexible departure time so close to Christmas, and withholding a large part of our deposit for not stripping beds (we literally ran out of time) and returning a sofa to its original position, despite them being perfectly ok with us moving it as the layout of the room just didn't work with a Xmas tree (which to be fair they had provided). A rather petty and completely avoidable end to an otherwise enjoyable week. Don't let it put you off but make sure you dot every i if you want your deposit back!
