We have just spent a wonderful week at Ty Log, the first sighting of the home is extremely impressive, as it stands alone with commanding views.
The interior is just as impressive with all the home from home comforts you don't always get with a holiday rental. The location is ideal to explore the myriad of local walks, castles and wonderful beaches. The highlight of any trip out was the return home, for a sundowner on the decking, watching the constant bird displays. We normally eat out a few times, however with all the facilities, comforts and views etc we dined outside on the decking most evenings.....when rain moved us inside, the views remain the same so dining inside is a pleasure.
In summary an excellent choice of Holiday home that we will repeat.
Thank you.

Just returned from a 1 week rental, wish we had booked two. Ty Log is set in beautiful countryside where the only noise we experienced was from the swallows. The interior is immaculate and contains everything you could conceivably need for a comfortable holiday. Access from a good quality B road is a little under a mile down a quiet country lane. It is still only 4 miles from a great beach and a similar distance to Carmarthen and from there easy access via A40/A48/M4 to the rest of South (and West) Wales with a never ending list of places to visit and beaches to sit on. We will return.

We have had the best week away sightseeing around Wales, not even scraping the surface of Wales. We stayed in the most beautiful surroundings at Ty Log with the most relaxing scenery. We would highly recommend a stay at Ty Log.

Amazing!

We have stayed at Ty Log for the past 2 years and it is wonderful!

The most fantastic 5* accommodation, in peaceful surroundings. It is the cleanest place we have ever stayed and has everything you will need. Comfy beds, black out blinds, every kitchen item / appliance - the place is perfect. The hosts Clare and David are friendly and welcoming, with great suggestions of local places to visit and eat. There is lots of wildlife to see, swallows, swifts, bats, birds of prey and bats.

Ty Log is close to some beautiful beaches. One, Llansteffan is 10 mins away in the car which even has its own castle and lovely coastal and beach walks.

I would not hesitate in booking Ty Log.

Had a fabulous weeks holiday in August. The house had everything we needed and more to enable us to have a wonderful family holiday. Definitely helped by the fantastic weather, stunning setting, views and close proximity of the great beach at Llanstephan. Clare and Dave we’re great hosts who were always available if needed.

It was so nice to reach our holiday destination at Ty Log to find a five star spotlessly clean, well equipped holiday lodge in beautiful serene countryside surroundings.
We were warmly greeted by David and the beautiful Mick a magnificent German Shepherd. We were later greeted by Clare who was also so approachable and knowledgeable of the wider area. Although our lodge was situated as part of their property and also shared with another is was so private not overlooked at all and Clare and David were so discreet throughout our stay. It was reassuring to know that they were on hand if needed.
The area around about was so natural with lots of places to visit and enjoy within easy distances it was suitable for walkers, cyclists and less mobile like ourselves in our seventies.
It was a real retreat from the fast Lane and it’s trappings we enjoyed the slower pace. One of favourite past times was observing the acrobatics of the bats of an evening and admiring the features of the lodge which Clare and David had amazingly built themselves.
Our recommended places to visit were Llansteffan, Laugharne, Wiseman’s Bridge and Saundersfoot, we enjoyed several visits to these places appreciating their snacks and local specialities such as fish and chips overlooking the beach, Welsh pasties and delicious cakes.
We are still thinking and talking about our stay there thank you to Clare and David.

We had a week stay in this property. Super location n very clean. Welsh scones n bottle red were there on arrival. Not enough hot water for 2nd shower soon after. Cushions in lounge could do with inners being replaced too flat. But apart from that everything else was spot on.

My husband and I spent two idyllic weeks at Ty Log Holiday Home. The accommodation was superb with everything we needed and more. We wanted a break of peace and tranquillity and we had just that. The setting was very peaceful and quiet with beautiful views. The surrounding areas were well worth visiting and everyone we met were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Claire and David were the the ultimate hosts sharing their vast knowledge of the area with us, advising the best places to visit along with the finest eating places in the local area.
We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a luxury base in a beautiful part of the country. It truly is five star.
