Geufron Farm - Snowdonia

We had a wonderful week's stay with friends, 3 infants, and 2 dogs in the Old Farmhouse and Little Cottage. One of the best self-catered cottages we have ever stayed at. It was great to meet Dean on arrival and Hannah was very responsive via WhatsApp. Snowdonia completely surpassed expectations and the weather the even good enough to use the outdoor pool several times. The views from the patio and pool down to the valley, coast, and across to the neighbouring hills, are nothing short of stunning. The accommodation is stunning. The way the buildings have been renovated adds a great modern touch and style, whilst still keeping in touch with the original features of the property. The place was super child-friendly, with a child (/dog?) gate at the top of the stairs, and Hannah & Dean kindly provided us with a couple of travel cots and high chairs.

Definitely 5 stars. I have only a couple of suggestions for future developments. It would be good to have a washing machine somewhere on the farm. We knew there wouldn't be one at the property beforehand and there is a nearby laundrette. Still, being able to easily wash messy and dirty baby clothes on-site would be great. We also found that the power showers went from hot-to-cold when multiple showers were simultaneously run across the two properties. I guess it is hard to get higher water pressure to the top of the hill though. These are only tiny detractions from an overall fabulous week and I'd still hugely recommend a holiday at Guefron Farm :)

An amazing place, very cozy and quiet, there is a passage to the nearby hills, from where breathtaking views open, next to the house. It is better to stock up on food, the store is in a nearby town. There are several trekking routes from this area, choose the one you like according to the difficulty, and enjoy every moment in South Snowdonia!

Thank You Geufron Farm! We had the best week and the Y Caban was just perfect for us, the 2 kids and 3 pups! The outdoor garden was well secure for them all to play and good lighting at night. It was well equipped with more than we needed, everytime I thought I could do with an "x" I'd open a draw/cupboard and found what I needed. The bedrooms were cosy and comfy, we all slept really well and no noise. The front of house was laid out well with great wifi and TV. The location was just stunning! It had great walks and loads of nature. The dog field was also great, we used as a pit stop before bed and had great fun. Finally just all the little touches and information provided were spot-on. We would have never found the beach for the dogs without the info and it was stunning, 10x better than the main ones round there. I could go on, but was just really impressed :) Thank You

Such a beautiful place, I stayed here for the weekend with friends, plus Elin the pooch, and we've had an amazing time. Hannah and Dean are fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged a glorious hiking day for us with No-mad Adventures.
The dog friendly accommodation has everything you need and more, we stayed in the farmhouse with its heated pool and Elin loved the spacious and secure dog field.
There are so many activities and places to visit on the doorstep it's just a perfect holiday. We'll be back soon, it's hard to belive I've only stayed twice as it feels like my home from home.

Had a most memorable 7 nights stay with wife and 3 kids, "The Cowshed" cottage was perfect for our family.

We enjoyed having breakfast everyday in the table outside the cottage enjoying the stunning view.

Our kids loved the beach which is just few miles from the cottage.

Only reason our kids accepted to leave was we promised them we are coming back again in summer.

And yes we will be back soon.

High speed WiFi and big screen TV was a pleasant surprise.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay in the barn at Geufron Farm with my wife and two boxers.
It was beautifully quality equipped cottage and spacious for our needs. Nice walks nearby and the secure dog exercise field great if you want an easy day. We'll positioned off the road on a hillside with magnificent views all round. Can't wait to go back thank you Dean and Hannah

Peace and quiet and space and a fantastic view right across the valley - the Old Farm House and Little Cottage combination with the pool alongside is just fabulous place to be. I already miss the silence and the toot of the little local train as it makes it’s way up the valley. This is a very beautiful area to explore with walks and climbs suitable for everyone.
Dean and Hannah have created a very welcoming and spotless environment - and they were able to make all of our custom birthday requests ready for our arrival - Thanks again to them - we are very much looking forward to our next visit.

We have had an amazing time at The Little Cottage! The most perfect place for a peaceful break away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life! Set in an amazing setting with brilliant views, the cottage has everything you could need for a perfect holiday. I bumped into Dean briefly and he was very helpful.I emailed Hannah over a internet issue and she got straight back to me to help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the properties on Geufron Farm after having a nosy round them all! We will certainly be back next year!
