Beautiful! Stayed here for 4 nights over Easter 18 and can confidently say it's amazing! The lodge itself is clean and very well equipped with all a family's essentials such as cooker, hob, bath, shower, washing machine, dishwasher and a very well equipped kitchen. The lodge was immaculate when we arrived and is very tastefully furnished. There is a dining area, sitting area with TV and dvd player amd a further sitting area ar the front of the lodge over looking the stunning Valley and mountain views. The two bedrooms are comfortable and sized enough for purpose with dressing tables, bedside tables and wardrobes in each. One double bed and one twin. The finishing touch is obviously the hot tub. We loved it! It has some great jets to help relax and rejuvenate tired muscles with three dedicated lying down seats with headrests but it easily accommodates more people. Perfect! The lodge is situated in a very, very, quiet location with very little passing traffic. There is literally nothing to do in the immediate vicinity, but it's an ideal location as a base to explore further. Two places we visited which are simply a must if you stay here were Elan Valley (Welsh Water's reservoir estate, set in beautiful scenery with breathtaking views and a number of dams) and Gigrin Farm Red Kite Feeding Centre. This costs £20 per family but if you love wild birds of prey you're in for a treat! You walk down to the hides and at 3pm the farmer comes along and throws out meat. We saw hundreds of Kites really close up and even a few buzzards. Awesome. All in all I can highly recommend a stay at this lodge. 5*

Beautiful lodges with all the facilities you could wish for including a washer/dryer and dishwasher. They both have amazing views of the valley and a hot tub each which is a great added bonus even in the cold weather. The area is a great base to explore mid Wales and within easy reach of the coast. We were met on our arrival by Duncan and shown round which I thought was a nice touch and he was just a text or phone call away if we had any problems. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and we will come again.

A lovely and spacious lodge. Fully equipped. However if you are going to self cater you will need a sharp peeling knife and decent wine glasses. The hot tub is fantastic. All set up and a lovely 38 degrees. Such good value for money and wonderful views.
We will definitely be coming back..

From the start of the journey I had a message off Duncan the owner of the lodge. Wanting to know roughly what time we will arriving to check in. I replied back and gave me the time roughly we could be arriving at the lodge. Duncan was so friendly and very helpful he even told us how far the supermarkets are as we wanted to pick up a few items. When we arrived Duncan was there to greet us. Duncan talked us through everything and explained that possibly his dad would come to check the hot tube. Told us what to do once we checked out too. Duncan also told us what places we could checkout.
Once we arrived in the lodge it was super welcoming and so homely.
The lodge was so clean and tidy. I didn’t even have to attempt any cleaning myself. As we go to places and I end up cleaning but this lodge I didn’t even have to clean up as it was immaculate.
The area was so peaceful and beautiful to look out.
My youngest was so upset to be leaving the lodge today.
Highly recommended this place.
We will definitely be coming again and booking to stay here again.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

Absolutely stunning lodge. Perfectly maintained, private with a view to die for. Was greeted on arrival by Duncan, shown round and was gifted 6 fresh free range eggs from a local farm. The living area was cozy and comfy with two recliner sofas, lovely light up fireplace, decent TV and DVD player. Rooms were warm and comfy comprising of a double and a twin room both sizable with dressing table and wardrobe. Lovely kitchen with all the cooking utensils you could need for a self catering holiday. One very pleasant surprise was coffee press in the cupboard, next time I'll be taking my coffee grounds. The front of the cabin hosts a nice sitting area perfect for a cuppa on the winter mornings to enjoy the view. Outside area was well lit when needed beautiful hot tub that had lounging seats, if you get a clear night get in the hot tub turn off the lights and look up. Due to its location there is 0 light pollution and we shared one of the most amazing views of the night sky we'd ever seen.
Wonderfully friendly service, cabin is 1st class 1000% recommend. Will definitely return to this site.
