Excellent location, way away from everything, was perfect for the group of 12 of us to get away, still with room for others.
Can recommend for an adventurous group and we will be visiting again next year

Stayed here for a stag weekend.
Accomodation is average, several bunk beds. Living area was a bit bleak, no ironing board and iron around. Weak WiFi signal and no phone signal.
They made us a a welcome cake which was a kind gesture and the owners were warm and welcoming.
Very, very pretty countryside and a babbling brook runs through the pretty. In a word, idyllic.

Had a wonderful weekend stay at Happy Horse Cottages with 14 friends. The communication from Ray and Nicky was excellent, they were really helpful with getting back to me quickly.
The properties were spacious and in great condition. We loved the garden with the stream, BBQ and firepit. We also had loads of fun in the games room playing table tennis and table football.
The location is stunning and it's a great base for lots of activities in the Brecon Beacons!

What can I say, from the moment of booking HHC, the host (Nicky) was absolutely amazing. This beautiful location is great to switch off from the city & our crazy live’s. If you love the country side you will not be disappointed with the views, the walks & the wildlife to be seen.
Nicky helped me with having shopping delivered, balloons & even provided me with the catering details (Class Act Catering), as I was trying to keep it a well kept secret.
There were 12 of us at the cottage for my husbands birthday. Everyone in our group was so happy with the location, Nicky was happy to check in on us most days to see if everyone was happy & gave us all a lovely walk to go on, even with a few sore heads.

Stayed with friends families over the Christmas, the cottages were very clean, cosy with good underfloor heating, very good showers, very functional kitchens. We were surprised to see so many lovely horses there. The cottages are in a very good locations, less than half an hour away from Brecon Beacons, as well as trails around the farm. The host was very friendly and helpful. We were really enjoyed the stay and may go back again in the summer.

We were a large extended family group staying in the three cottages on Happy Horse Farm for a week in August 2021. The cottages are very well set up for a large group, with a big cooking and dining space to seat the whole group comfortably either indoors or outside. Nicky, her family and the staff on the farm were all really easy-going and friendly, and made us feel very welcome, and the kids loved the horses and dogs. Nicky also provided some useful recommendations for activities in the local area - we did hill walking, kayaking, climbing, swimming etc. There are great amenities on the farm including a games room and fire pit / BBQ. The setting and surrounding area is of course beautiful and quite remote.

Visited with friends over the weekend. The cottages were well presented and very cosy with the underfloor heating. There were plenty of utensils and dishes etc to allow us to cook a big meal. The largest cottage comfortably fit us all in, both at the table and the sitting area. Went for a nice short walk to the reservoir from the front door.

The three cottage arrangement worked perfectly for our extended family group. Lovely situation. Well equipped. Comfortable. Beautifully clean. Lovely hosts. Very highly recommended.
