Stayed 2 nights after collecting a new caravan from a local dealer. Very impressive site, well maintained, clean and tidy. The pitches are absolutely huge with a good gravel surface over what looks like hardcore and are level in both directions. The water and drainage were the "wrong side" for us, but could be reached with 8 metre hoses.
Very conveniently located for us for an overnight stop on journeys to the north, so we will be back again. And nearly forgot to mention about the small restaurant that does a great breakfast

We were booked in here for 1 night as we picked up our new caravan from just up the road. Although the weather is particularly grotty at the moment the site looks very nice and we were able to book a second night without any problem. The people here are very friendly.

Very disappointed with their customer service.
We booked a pitch well in advance, for 3 nights, but when we checked the confirmation e-mail a few days later, the dates were different to those which we had chosen.
We contacted the stables and they said that if our chosen dates were not available, then their website automatically booked us in to the closest ones available 🤔.
We explained that we needed the dates that we had specified as we were attending a show on the Saturday night and that we would need our money back if we couldn’t have these dates.
We were told that this had happened before, but that it is not there policy to give refunds, we could have a credit note and that we should have checked the confirmation at the time of booking.
I explained the circumstances and how we were only coming to atherstone for the show and would not be back, I also pointed out that as I was told that this had happened before, then maybe this silly default thing was not stated clearly enough.
I do understand that people flippantly cancelling without a good reason could be frustrating, but this was not the case with us and I would have hoped for some flexibility from them as we didn’t consider that all the blame lay with us, but answer was still no.
We won’t be using the credit and won’t be attending on THEIR chosen dates, If they are
that desperate for our money, they can keep it.

Have read your response. We were told by the person who answered the phone when we called with the query that this is how your website works, so either you or she is wrong.

We had a recent break here in one of the glamping pods. They were really well kitted out and fantastic value for money. The pods are tucked away in their own little section with designated parking right next to each one. Lovely private decking area with views of the surrounding site and trees, it was so peaceful. Inside the kids had a separate bedroom section with the bathroom tucked in behind, it was very spacious too. Ideally suited for couples or young families, nice and clean too. Staff very approachable and friendly. Atherstone is a great base for the Midlands in general or further afield (plenty of places doable within an hour/90 min). We'll hopefully be back before too long!

We go to thd cafe on site, and on this occasion it was to meet the parents of my future sons in law prior to the wedding. The staff were again very welcoming and speedy in serving us our food and drink. A lovely cafe and even though I don't go camping anymore I'd have liked to have tried this place.

Glamping pod was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and shower was great. I've been to place where we have had a pod and had to share camping site shower facilities, it was great to have our own bathroom. We also had family in next pod, they came round in evening for card games, enough room for all of us round a table. site very clean and quite at night.

A well kept, quiet and very clean caravan park. The Saddlery Tea Room is a must for breakfast, delicious food and friendly staff. We stayed in glamping pod 3, had everything you wanted and very clean. The only downside was the leather sofa bed, it was not comfortable at all not even for children.

Stayed here for a glamping weekend with my better half. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas and it was so nice to come back after a long day adventuring to a nice, warm and relaxing glamping pod. The pod was clean, spacious and well lit.

We had a water issue one morning where the sinks and showers weren’t draining, myself and another pod user informed management and the issue was resolved within 30 minutes, our day wasn’t affected by this incident and it was handled professionally and timely.

I would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a little adventurous getaway.
