Unfortunately we will not be returning after the way the lady owner spoke to us and our party of 16.
We arrived on Friday to no problems, we had a warm welcome from the gentleman owner, set up our tents and enjoyed our first night.
On Saturday, 2 of us were walking our dogs around the field when I saw this lady storm over to our tent area and quite literally scream at my party because of one of our dogs was a Staffy.
I actually could not believe how this woman was speaking to my party and definitely could not believe when she said she was the owner!! To cut a long story short, we were bellowed at and told that Staffy’s were a dangerous breed and were banned?! My sister who owns the dog explained that Staffs aren’t on the banned list and as she could see, was walking with 5 other dogs and 3 children so was not a dangerous dog. The woman very rudely said to us “it’s my campsite so my rules” and stormed off saying that my sister was being extremely difficult.
We were called liars as apparently we were suppose to declare our dogs, but the question that was asked over the phone when booking was “do you have any dangerous dogs”? Which we do not, so the answer was no.

After I approached the gentleman to ask for our money back so we could leave for another campsite where we felt welcome, he reassured us there was no reason to leave and apologised for the woman’s behaviour.

I really hope the lady takes a moment to reflect on how she treated and spoke to her GUESTS!

We wondered why the tent field was so empty, maybe the ladies attitude is a factor?

Great site with excellent facilities and customer service. Superb area next to the renowned Mwnt beach and good bus service up and down the coast. Great sunsets every night from our pitch and numerous sightings of Dolphins from the cliff walks. Feel so lucky to be here.

We had 3 weeks here at this amazing campsite. Views of the sea and the most memorable sunsets. We cycled the quiet lanes (reminded me of my childhood in the 70s in rural Essex, very little traffic), we swam in Mwnt and walked the coastal path. Iwan and Eleri are the best hosts, so helpful. There is a bus that runs on a Friday and Sat along the coast to New Quay, stopping along all the amazing beaches. . There is a tesco in Cardigan and the bus stops outside. Cardigan is lovely, lots of independent shops. Thank you Eleri for the timetable. Everyone who can, should support this bus service. There is also a number of cycle routes to Aberporth and Cerigan and the Castle, along a traffic free nature reserve. Really nice cafe here. We saw bottle nosed dolphins at Mwnt, buzzards, red kites, foxes and seals. A mile and a half there is a milk vending machine (nice to cycle to, and they do milkshakes) plus the milk lady delivers monday, we'd and Fri to the farms and we bought milk from from her too. The cabin by the beach does great food and ice creams. The campsite has all you need. Mwnt beach is accessed by a gate to the left at the top of the camp site and then left again over a cattle grid and follow the path. Simply the best holiday. Thank you Iwan and Eleri.

Only a few people on the site, disabled washroom had not been cleaned for a few days it would seem, other areas okay, with facilities in line with the price per night. Nice walk down to the coast from the site

A very welcoming site, with a children's play area and residential farm animals that are kept as pets.
A 20 minute walk down a track to Mwnt beach.
The toilet facilities although limited were clean and tidy.
The washing up area also had washing machines, hotplates, microwaves, kettles, toasters etc.
A very interesting area to visit, the only downside was narrow lanes in places.
I would definitely visit again.

Best campsite we've been to, hands down. Really friendly owners, super clean and tidy, amazing views and the nearby beaches are spectacular. Ticks every box! We will definitely be going back.
