Dolgelynen Holiday Park

Dolgelynen is a great place to camp, the views are stunning, toilet blocks and facilities spotlessly clean. It’s a quiet site, great to get away from everything and close to a number of great beaches including Aberporth and Tresaith. Cardigan is only 10mins down the road for all your shopping needs. George and Paul were so helpful to us when we stayed there this weekend. Would highly recommend this site.

Lovely views well maintained toilet block bit dated but clean 10 minute walk to nearest pub 15 minute walk to nearest beach

I was really worried about coming to this site based on previous reviews. However, we had a lovely experience over the bank holiday weekend. On the phone and the welcome when we arrived were very freidnly. George was very flexible with the arrival times and was really quick at getting back to us on the phone. We were pitched on a non electric pitch which was much wetter than the electric pitches due to it's lower position in the campsite and following lots of rain.
We weren't far however from the toilet and shower block. The shower block takes 50p pieces so take change and some flip flops to stand in the shower. The block is dated, but they are kept super clean and are covid compliant and were very quiet. I have no hesitation in recommending this site as clean, good value and functional. It's not too far from so many beaches. Enjoy!

Hi , we stayed here over the bank holiday and had a brill time. Lovely camp site with friendly staff Paul & George running it. Don’t believe some of the reviews on here camping is what you make it and me and my partner Karen and our girls had best time ever. The views are stunning in the evening , nice big field to play games in to and just sit back light the bbq and chill with glass or 2 of wine. Yes the showers are dated but so what that’s what adds to character of the place. Will definitely be returning little gem of a place. Dean & Karen 😁😁😁

We have been going there every year for many years but a couple of years ago they took on a new 'site manager' (Paul) and things have deteriorated. The toilet/shower block is dirty and shabby. The old shower curtains still hang there and water seems to be leaking through the tiles onto the 'changing area' The toilets are not cleaned properly and the whole block just looks dirty, tired and in need of urgent restoration if they want campers to return there.
What's more - family members went there a couple of weeks ago and the unofficial resident 'manager(?') George, tried to charge them £30 a night plus electricity. When my relative told the owner, she told them to 'just pay what they usually pay!' It also appears that different people were charged different amounts - on the whim of this 'manager' Needless to say that we will not be returning there! No investment in the site - just exploitation of customers.

So be aware £36 pounds anight Plus £6 electric hook up for 2 adults and 2 infants !!!!
There need to be professional cleaner on sight, the shower block is disgusting.
Never been up dated facilities, no disabled facilities!!!!

Basic shower and toilet block but that's what we want.
