Liked: Generous, private plots for tourers.
Swimming pool very warm.
2 nice parks for younger children.
Grounds well maintained, nice open spaces.
Showers plenty of hot water (push button so no option to change temperature)
15 minute walk into narberth.

Disliked: Lack of toilets/showers. One fairly run down block servicing the whole site. It’s cleaned once a day, needs to be done more frequently when busy. It’s also located at the bottom of the site which is a long, steep walk from the pitches.
They only allow 2 families into the pool at once for 30 minutes (despite the welcome pack saying pool has a maximum of 20 capacity). Pool could easily accommodate double the people which would mean they could allocate hour slots instead. No shower facilities at the pool and a long walk to the shower block.
Restaurant/bar expensive.

Liked: The play areas were good and well-used. The pool was warm and suitable for all ages. Staff were friendly and helpful. The site was clean and tidy. It was a good location for access to Pembrokeshire's sights and activities.

Disliked: It was a long walk down a hill to the toilets which did get tedious at night. And although the toilet block was kept clean, the toilets didn't always flush well and frequently got backed up.
Pitching our awning on gravel was a bit tricky and uncomfortable, particularly as we have a campervan so rely on the awning as a living space.
Having to book the pool in advance for 30 min slots was also a bit of a pain. We would have liked freer access, although understand that there is no lifeguard and numbers must be managed for safety.
We felt the onsite pub was pleasant for adults, but could have done with something for the kids...a little play area or such. We may have stayed for drinks if there was something for our son to do. It lacked family appeal tbh. Also, only one vegetarian option on the menu is a bit disappointing if you don't eat meat.

Liked: Spacious pitches, with plenty of room to sit in sun or shade, well spaced out, giving plenty of privacy with hedges between. My grandchildren enjoyed outside pool, the water was a lovely temperature. Nice bar and restaurant area, although we didn’t use facilities. Nice walk into Narberth, will return.

Disliked: Half hour a day for use of pool, if spaces available, is not long enough, especially as it was very hot when we were there. It would be nice to have small toilet, shower facility near top touring areas, as quite a walk down from there.

Liked: Very clean facilities,
Well kept pitches.
Swimming pool is a booking system, which was ideal to keep numbers down letting the kids swim freely. It did mean you have to book the day before to guarantee a spot, which was never an issue for us.
Quite/ peaceful site.
Friendly useful staff.
Short drive to beaches.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great restaurant and bar - really good menu and food! Good facilities and amenities. The pool is good for small children, well managed and well heated. Well kept grounds and great sized plots.

Disliked: Outdoor washing facilities and short booking slots for the pool (should be blocks of 1hr instead of 30 minutes).

Liked: The pitch space - plenty of room & space between pitches. The location was great, just a short distance from the centre of Narberth. Great to have an outdoor pool on site. The restaurant & bar were wonderful, excellent food & the decor was fantastic. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The toilet block was just ok. It served its purpose, but is a little tired & could go with updating. The floors in the showers were always wet, which is kind of understandable in a shower, however when you need to dry yourself & keep clean dry clothes, clean & dry, the weren’t many hooks or shelves to put anything. An on-site shops selling the basics would be great - milk, bread, etc & stuff for bbqs. Wasn’t great when the pool’s new boilers broke down and water went cold on last day. No WiFi other than in bar/restaurant.

Liked: Large site, with plenty of green spaces, a bar and restaurant. Within walking distance of Narberth and was really easy to access with a tourer.

Disliked: Toilet and shower block was fine, but could do with an upgrade. Outdoor heated pool was lovely, but the booking system was very restrictive with only one 30 minute slot a day allowed.

Had a delicious meal tonight, Pork tenderloin in a creamy mushroom and Madeira sauce with possibly the best mashed potato ever! Followed by a heavenly passion fruit cheesecake.
Staff were all friendly and cheerful even though it was really busy. Prices are fair too -. £57 for two of us, two courses each with drinks.
Very happy and will definitely be visiting again......with a taxi next time so I can try the cocktails! 😉
