The accommodation was great and the site has everything you want, if you don't want to go anywhere. This is also a great base to explore the south of Wales as a whole.

Had the best time!
Staff at Thunderbird was rude.
I will ignore that and will still give a 5 star

Stayed in Honeysuckle 14, an absolutely outstanding caravan with decking overlooking the sea. This was more like a five star hotel and would definitely recommend.
Site facilities were good and the free Fireworks display was fantastic, all in all a great weekend break.

Having a great holiday with our kids who are 9 and 7, and our 8mth old puppies. It's great that its dog friendly, and our kids love all the activities they get to do. Not to mention that we have 2 beaches practically on our doorstep with Trecco beach being a Blue flag beach, and the other beach for our puppies to have fun.

Large holiday caravan park next to three beaches (not much else nearby - there are a couple of pubs, an overpriced fair and a small town with a few shops, but not much to do off park without travelling).

Unfortunately our experiences were not as we found at other parks....
Over 1.5 hour wait from ordering using their app for drinks or food (quickest we got served, 30 minutes)- unable to order at the bar still.
Caravan had dog biscuits and hair in the shower upon arrival.
Boiler kept shutting off after 2-3 hours. Had to ask 3 times to get it repaired. Repair guy was great and fixed it that evening. Then the damned thing wouldn't turn off (ended up sleeping with all the windows open for 3 days)!
Police presence one morning at the park as some 14 year old boys had been fighting overnight with blood everywhere.
2 hour wait to get into the overcrowded "entertainment centre.
Refunds for 2 x activities as they didn't work. One got also got delayed. Most activities you are pretty much left to yourselves. High ropes were good though.

Overall, the park suffers greatly by being staffed by young people who don't appear to care about their jobs or providing good service. Some of the clientele were also not helping the situation (the fighting, loud behaviour, load cars&car horns, and the ignorant idiots coming home at 1AM and talking loudly all night).

Trying to be a "centre parcs" styled multi-activity location, but honestly failing. HAVEN @ Caister-upon-sea have managed to do this much better.

Been going to Trecco Bay for years. The site and surrounding beaches would be 5 stars. The Trecco Bay Troopers were excellent as always (much better than the bought in entertainment) and they deserve a bonus star!

However, for how much the caravan cost, I would have expected a Palace. It was functional but tired and very tatty. Also, the cleaners left rubbish outside our door, tea towels in the freezer (no idea why!) but didn't leave us any toilet roll for our arrival.
The workers on this site work to their own time. 45 min swim=35min! 30 on climbing wall=20min! Staff finish their shift leaving a booking station unmanned for 20 mins before the next person started their shift!
The queue to get into the entertainment was ridiculous. Over 45 mins to get in. Can only order drinks through an app from your table. There were not enough bar staff for the number of servers meaning that the servers were stood round waiting for something to serve. Order your drinks about 25 mins before you're ready for the next one!
