This caravan site has clearly been starved of investment for years, it's absolutely dead. Our caravan was a mess to say the least, dead flies all over the window sill and the 'hot tub' looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
To be fair, they did change our accommodation when we complained about the issue but moved us into a a camping pod (we were a party of 5) which meant 2 of us had to sleep on the floor.
I've be stayed in some pretty grim caravan sites in my time (Blackpool, Morecambe etc) and this tops the list. The clubhouse was closed, the swimming pool was closed, the tennis court and bowling green looked like a prison yard.
Wouldn't recommend at all. Awful.

Anthony the Owner should be embarrassed and Daniel the 'Manager' should be ashamed of himself. If you see any reviews higher than one star, they are fake! This has to be grosses caravan park in the UK. Your beds will not actually be changed between guests, they will also be stained with goodness knows what. We are covered in bites and have been itchy for days. I suspect it's bed bugs and possibly fleas due to the caravans not being cleaned between guests. The manager Daniel is very quick to point a finger at the owner or the cleaners however it appears that Daniel takes on all the roles and so is unable to do any of them successfully. He would lie to your face and ignore you the rest of your stay. We also had to clean our own lodge which took the first 2 hours out of our holiday and it was all downhill from there. After several more complaints that fell on deaf ears we decided to make the most out of it however, stay off this nasty place. It turns out there are plenty of lovely caravan parks in the area, with friendly staff and clean/usable amenities. Stay here at your own risk!

Just got back from a week at twin rivers. Everyone had a fantastic time. Dan the manager is lovely person. He works so hard, Any issues we had were dealt with. We can't wait to return. The Derwin lodge was fantastic, everything worked the way it should. The staff in the clubhouse are all lovely too and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!! We booked through Airbnb a month before our stay, on the day of our stay we messaged them an hour before arriving and had no reply. Check in hours are between 4pm and 11pm. When arrived at the destination we learned that reception worked till 4pm. We tried to call them on two different phone numbers and no reply. Called from 4 different phones and got message replies on two of them which said "text me". Waited for 2 hours in the parking lot and had no answers. In the end we called Airbnb support line and they couldn't reach them either so we had to cancel our booking and drive back home. It was past 10pm and a 3 hour drive ahead. We were aware from the reviews that the stay for most of the guests was not the best experience they had but this just gets on top of any 1 star review. If you don't want to end up freezing in their parking lot waiting for Daniel or Anthony to answer their phones better book your stay with someone else. We actually asked Airbnb to take them off the site and hopefully they will do so.

Leigh smith …..! We stayed hear from the Friday to the Monday in June . Daniel was lovely, And very accommodating. Lovely place to stay , Totally unpretentious warm and friendly. The only down side to my stay , Was who I was with x

We visited sunday to wednesday. When we first got shown to our glamping pod it looked a lot worse than expecting, luckily got upgraded to a beautiful lodge because already guests in the pod. The manager Daniel was very helpful and friendly gave us plenty advice where to visit. Seemed rushed off feet but helped as much as could. However when walking around the park we noticed it was dead, pool unuseable and bit dirty,clubhouse didn't seem very inviting. We used the hot tub but could have done with some advice on on functioning it got a bit stuck.It also wasn't very clean leaves and felt greasy.

Got here Sept 30th to have a go at Glamping in one of the Gypsy Huts with mom. Glamping wasn't for us, definitely sleeps 2 and not 4. However, site manager Dan helped us to upgrade to The Maple Lodge which is absolutely stunning. Dan and Barry are the most helpful and friendliest people who provide a great service. Would 10/10 reccomend

Great new year party at club house on site. Nice caravan.. loverly views.. 40 min drive to barmouth. Would book again
