Sevenoaks Sound and Vision: Yeovil

Brilliant service from Sevenoaks. I was able to pick up an ex display model of what I was after at a great price with a 2 year warranty. Dave was particularly helpful wiring up speaker cable to banana plugs so I could incorporate my sub. Top service would thoroughly recommend 👍🏽

A big thank you to Mark in the Yeovil branch of SS&V. Previously, another hi-fi store sold me a pre-amp for my Rega 3 which didn't work and didn't provide any post support services.

I sent an email to Mark of SS&V Yeovil over the Easter bank holiday and surprise surprise he got back to me on Easter Saturday. I asked him for his recommendation for another pre-amp and he suggested the Rega Fona MM which I ordered. It was delivered a few days later.

But that is not the end of the story. The signal from the turntable was very scratchy (lots of interference) when I connected the pre-amp - frustrating!!. I called him up and very calmly he went thru a fault finding exercise and concluded that it wasn't my Cyrus amp but my Rega Plannar 3 turntable. He asked me to go through the set up of the device (this wasn't set up by the supplier I purchased it from - cowboys). I followed the instructions and Wow - it worked!!! I am not enjoying Led Zeppelin IV.

So what did I learn through my experience. Well, don't purchase from a hifi shop that sell professional equipment. Always go to SS&V, they are professional, knowledgeable and provide excellent post support. I take my hat off to you SS&V - quality service!

Great service at this branch. Mark listened to what I was looking for and gave several options that I could look at. Set-up some good demos in-store and they have a lot of different kit to see and test in the store. I have had outstanding service from Sevenoaks Yeovil over many years and in particular recently with a faulty product that was exchanged fro a new unit with no hesitation. I will certainly be using them again and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff at the Yeovil branch. The website showed Marantz amplifier and CD player in stock so we could pick them up. Great aftersales with a query which was answered immediately. We will certainly be back, recommended to all.
