Level 10 Building Contractors

Do NOT use this company. We used Brian to knock down a wall and insert a gallow support. We paid him to arrange an inspection from the council to provide a certificate of safety. This was not provided.
When I eventually could get hold of Brian, he said that the inspector had to come back as he couldn’t inspect it as the plasterers were working. I asked Brian to rearrange the inspection. From this point, Brian ignored all contact from me. I contacted the council who told me that when the inspector came, there was a bolt missing from the gallow. Brian was told that he needed to send photographic proof that the bolt was in place so they could provide the certificate. He never did this. My kitchen has been finished and I have booked the inspector to visit myself even though Brian has been paid for this already. I have been told that when the inspection takes place, the inspector may need to expose the gallow meaning that this will cause damage to the area which will need to be fixed again. This company does not mind taking your money, but when you encounter a problem, don’t expect them to answer the telephone let alone sort it out!
