Rayleigh HiFi Sound & Vision Chelmsford

I have been buying products from Rayleigh Hifi in Southend for over 20 years. From my first stereo Hifi system and speakers many years ago to my latest multi-room Control4 setup. This isn't the cheapest place to shop but then from amplifiers and speakers to Blu-ray players and streaming, the products are often the best of their type. Rayleigh Hifi's advice in demonstrating and helping to choose these premium products has given me a home setup with outstanding performance and that will stand the test of time. The quality of their installation work and after sales service makes the buying experience both enjoyable and, in my opinion, well worth the cost.

Had a slight problem with my Naim Uniti and thought I would need to send to Naim for fix, but Rob at Rayleigh Hi-Fi said he could fix it and I was able to pick it up next morning fully working at no charge. How’s that for service!

>10 years since my original Sonos purchase but Rob remembered me immediately I walked into the shop. He talked me through the changes and improvements to the system and a visit to my house followed. Rob was clear about what upgrades were required and where I could contain costs and once agreed, quickly put my order in.
The installation was smooth and efficient - both guys were tidy and respectful and took time to explain everything, particularly at the end when we went through every room and they simply demonstrated how to use the equipment.
All communication was timely and clear and I am now thoroughly enjoying my new system.

Thirty-one years ago (1991), I bought my first high quality hifi system from Rayleigh HiFi in Chelmsford. Since then, I have continually upgraded my hifi components with purchases from Rayleigh.
Instead of 'sales tactics', Rayleigh staff have always been enthusiastic providers of information regarding their products. Sales pressure is totally absent, and customers are encouraged to make up their own minds based upon affordability and auditions of hifi components.
Rayleigh HiFi provides only the highest quality audio equipment and after-sales customer care is first rate. Only yesterday (as I write) did I visit the Chelmsford show rooms to negotiate another purchase. At the age of 84, this may be my last - or it may be my 5th from last!

From start to finish the team at Rayleigh Hi-Fi in Chelmsford were fantastic. They were patient and professional in answering our questions and working with other contractors on our project. The installation by Kellen and the team was smooth and efficient, the after service care has been great. Thanks again for all your help.

Great to deal with throughout the process. Excellent advice delivered with patience and understanding to an old technophobe like me. Installation was very professional and the guys were really polite and friendly. After sales service has been brilliant leaving us with a feeling we can phone them up and get help easily. Would definitely recommend them and will buy more from them myself in due course!

People are always quick to leave bad feedback but Never the other way round. I brought a record player from Rayleigh hifi around 3 years ago. I contact them as I had an issue with It. The service I received was great!

within a day, they had contacted the manufacture and managed to get a replacement component sent out to me. They had no obligation to help me as the product was brought so long ago, but im very grateful that they did.

In a world where we are all used to poor service and being let-down it was totally refreshing dealing with Rayleigh.
All of the lads that came to the house were fantastic and came back on three occasions to make sure it had all been completed properly. Professional, reliable and respectful are some of the words that spring to mind.
Coming back to do more jobs for us.
