Homebase - Sevenoaks (including Bathstore)

These sort of places are normally all the same but here they've got a lady called Norma, and she's their secret weapon! She knows & understands her job inside out & upside down, the woman is fantastic! We'd bought a load of coat hooks to replace the broken ones on our old coatstand but had to buy them from about 4 Homebase branches due to stock levels and policies. Unfortunately they didn't look right so we needed to exchange them and whilst in Sevenoaks visiting the Dentist I decided to pop in to the local Homebase and get it done. Now usually when you do this in most shops you're greeted with an attitude-ridden member of staff who views working on the "Customer Service/Returns Desk" as a punishment, like being placed on the Naughty Step.
Not our Norma! With gusto in abundance it was like she put her knickers on outside her trousers, Superman-style, followed by a mesmerising display of what has to be an encyclopedic knowledge & understanding of everything "Homebase", it was just fantastic! My Wife & I kept looking at each other muttering "she's gonna mess it up in a minute", but, to our great surprise, no, Norma nailed it, bang on! Thank you Homebase, but especially THANK YOU NORMA, you're a star! 👍👏😁🤩

Good selection of gardening supplies and plants at prices that make garden centres appear a ripoff.

Good Click and Collect service too.

Very helpful staff, we bought our Christmas Tree! They helped us choose the right one and they covered it in netting so it was very easy to transport.

Ripped me off and stole my money. John sold me a kitchen I can’t use as the parts were wrong. Promised me the correct parts many times. Nothing. He won’t refund me or answer my messages. I’m stuck with bits of wood which cost me over a months wages cluttering up my home.

Life shouldn’t be a constant battle.

The only good thing in this store is that they have Sian, at the bathroom area. She helped us design and purchase our new bathrooms. she was extremely helpful and professional. Such a great and pleasant personality. We strongly recommend her services.

Great managers offers, good selection on lighting, not so much on wallpaper, but such friendly helpful staff.
