B&Q Peckham

I went today as I had seen a fireplace companions on line for 26.00 £ as new online. When I got there no one there to help, the lady at click and collect directed me to bay number 22 saying that was where the fireplace accessories were. at Bay 22 there were only wood and long ladders, she misled me completely. They could not care less in customer service. Its an appaling place and will never return to buy in that store. 1 other guy at the building area told me in fact that their branch did not store any fireplace accessories. So they also lie to the customers. Stay away from that place. 1 word poor non existing service. Don't give them your money and go elsewhere

Rather helpful staff. The tills can be a bit slow, but that's to be expected during busy hours. Regardless, great choices for DIY, home & garden and decoration needs. They stock Christmas related items early as well which is super handy for early bird decorators.

I absolutely LOVE this store. It always has everything you want or need. The prices are quite moderate and good for everyone ( even on benefits, single parents and low income people). They also have home deliveries! Also when paying for your bits - B&Q has self service for people with only little bits of items and cashiers on till service so they help with large items etc. Goòd service, helpful staff and customer satisfaction.

I had a really good experience today despite the low staff numbers.
Hammad ? (not the correct name sorry I couldn’t remember it! ) In the wood cutting area - was the only member of staff on hand to help with my enquiry, lift the planks onto my trolley and also help another couple with their requests.
He multi tasked well. Was professional, enthusiastic and provided a level of customer service that was above and beyond.
I went to customer service to try & get more help in that area but no one turned up. The pressure on staff in the shop is very unfair in a physical environment - management need to recruit more staff to be on hand.

1* for having stock and a roof.

The staff are absolutely miserable. Proactively rude and constantly giving customer after customer the stink eye on the tills.

Went to use cutting service twice this week and wasn’t operational for different reasons.

No one wants to help.

North Greenwich store a lot better.

This medium size B & Q located on Old Kent Road has good selection of products. The self service tills had also improved. The staff are ok.

Two stars because it stinks of mouse wee and we just saw a mouse crossing the paint aisle. Management should fix that. Revolting.
But the service from the cashiers is very good. The lady who just helped us gave us some plant tips and was very friendly.

Good range and easy to find stuff. The staff has always been helpful. On bank holidays this place is usually packed by all the DIY enthusiasts. In the spring the range of bedding plants, and shrubs is great.
