Homebase - Haverfordwest (including Bathstore)

Nicely set out. Great range of products from pretty cushions to practical cement for outside. Everything has its place. Garden centre outside (some bits are expensive and everyone comments on the price of plants!)
Staff are always friendly and willing to help and check prices for you
Big car parking. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible. No toilets.

Today I called into the store to buy paint with my daughter.

Whilst there we tried to purchase some lovely solar lights 5 for £20. This price was displayed in three A4 size notices. When I got to the till I questioned why the bill was so much. I was informed that the lights were on a 4 for 3 offer. I informed that was not what was displayed.

I met a member of staff in the isle who agreed what was displayed, but said that offer should have been taken off that morning ( it was now 4pm), there were no signs of 4 for 3. I returned to the till to be simply told they were no longer for sale.

Any other decent company would have honoured the sale. As clearly they had a profit in the transaction the day before.

The lady at the till gave no clear explanation, she shut down any questions as a que was now building.

Got everything we wanted, but couldn't find any staff to answer queries we had. Till staff very friendly and helpful.

Went to pick up paint pads that were showing in stock online, but couldn't find them on the shelf. Staff member stated they were discontinued but would check the warehouse for any residual stock. Unfortunately there were none in store, but even though I left empty handed the staff were very helpful.

Bought some shelves and before took out packaging could see were damaged will see what happens when take them back the weekend

Nice to actually find a Homebase that is still open as my local Solihull one closed down. Some good deals on this visit.
