Absolutely Amazing venue and hosts I honestly cannot recommend Essex Stays more! Emma couldn’t do enough for us, so accommodating and attentive helping us plan extra activities and suggesting ideas to help make our stay perfect.
The little touches like the towels slippers, robes waiting in your rooms was just so thoughtful.
Dressing room with the hair and makeup stations was really well thought out especially with a group of 14 girls things like this are perfect!
Venue was spotless, amenities were incredible, from the massive hot tub that fitted us all in to the karaoke room where we sang into the early hours. Thank you so much Emma and Essex Stays you made my hen weekend and I can’t wait to come back soon.

We had the absolute BEST stay at Essex Stays! I honestly could not fault this property whatsoever, everything was so clean, modern and well decorated! The karaoke room and bar were huge hits as well as the hot tub. I felt like we didn’t have to book a load of activities as there was so much to do at the house. The communication with the owner Emma was amazing from start to finish and she was incredibly helpful (even offering to lay the table for us before our private chef cooked for us on the first night)! The garden is MASSIVE and the bbq with pub benches meant we had options for dining outside which I absolutely loved.

Bedrooms were beautiful decorated and came equipped with robes, slippers, towels and amenities! I need to reiterate how clean everything was, it was like staying in a hotel.

This venue really has the wow factor and I would book back here in a heart beat.

Essex stays was wonderful! The perfect girls weekend location. All rooms were immaculate and we all had such a lovely time. There were robes and slippers provided for all, with lovely products in the bathroom. The hot tub was the largest I have ever seen, with a huge garden to match. This place would be perfect for family staycations too.

I was lucky enough to have a surprise 30th birthday night away at The Kings Head/Essex Stays last weekend. I can safely say it was the best weekend I have ever had! The venue is absolutely stunning, everything has been so well thought out and designed. We had so much fun in the cocktail room, hot tub and most of all the karaoke room! I really didn’t want to leave. Will absolutely be booking again and thank you for making my birthday so special xxx

Wow, what an amazing place this was! Stayed here at the weekend celebrating my friends 30th surprise birthday weekend. There was 13 of us and we had an amazing time! The owners really did think of everything, we was so lucky with the weather, we ended up spending a lot of time in the hot tub which is amazing and my personal favourite was the karaoke room! It really did entertain us girls for hours!

Brilliant stay at Essex stays at the weekend. We went for a friends birthday and it has everything you could wish for, especially for a fun girls weekend away. From the hot tub, to the karaoke room, the big dining kitchen area, the bar it was the perfect venue, I couldn’t fault this property everything was so clean and beautifully laid out. The beds were so comfy too! The hosts were very helpful and friendly, good amount of parking on site , I would definitely recommend this stay to ANYONE! We will definitely be going back. Came here for my birthday recently and I loved every second! The house is fully equipped so you literally have nothing to worry about for your stay. From the hot tub, outdoor igloo, the cocktail bar and the karaoke room, you wouldn’t not have a good time here. The communication from the team was 10/10 and I will certainly be returning! Recently stayed at Essex Stays as party of a Hen weekend and I can honestly not recommend this venue enough, from start to finish the owners were fabulous. The attention to detail at this venue is second to non. My friends and I especially enjoyed the Hot Tub, Bar, Garden and Karaoke Room. The bedrooms were fully equipped with dressing gowns, slippers and towels, with the added bonus of a fully stocked bathroom with toiletries. The kitchen has every utensil you may need, with a great little set up for breakfast. Emma and her team made such an effort to ensure we had the best possible stay. Everything was there for us to enjoy the whole weekend, so much so we didn't even leave the venue! Thanks again, we had a wonderful stay.
