Loch Lomond Pony Trekking

Such a beautiful place for a trek.

Lovely relaxed stables with extremely friendly and attentive staff and owners.

The ponies are very laid back and the staff clearly know all the ponies characters very well. Pairing riders up really well based on ability and experience.

Had a fantastic time pony trekking on our horses Rosie & Zakk. Our group leaders Liz & Lisa took good care of us. Amazing views over the Loch, mountains & town below!

Amazing experience run by a family business right by Loch Lomond. Suzanne is an entertaining host and all her ponies are well trained. The whole experience lasted about 2 hrs total - we got plenty more pony time than what’s marketed (lucky us!). The groups are intimate as well - they book only 4 people per session, so I felt comfortable riding even with the covid situation.

Not sure what the other reviews said about just walking up a hill - the views were spectacular and we had a photo opp too. I got my pony to trot a bit as well, which was fun :)

Will be coming back - worth the price in my opinion.

My sister and I ended our Scotland trip back in October with a day ride with Loch Lomond Pony Trekking; and it was the highlight of our trip! We have very little experience riding, but the instructors helped get us suited and saddled up, and introduced us to our sweet horses Jack and Rosie. The ride was gorgeous, easy to manage, and had some of the best views. And our guides were so kind as to get some great pictures of us on the trail! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Balloch area.

What an amazing day we had yesterday, best birthday present for my husband. Very well mannered and lovely ponies/horses (Dolly and Tilly), credit to you all! Thanks to our guide for making it a great trek we had a great day! Definitely would come back xx
