Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre

My daughter had a endoscopy today in the children’s day unit. The staff were so kind, caring & lovely. It really felt like special individual treatment. I thought the children’s area was really nice too all the facilities seemed quite new. Really want to say a big thanks to the whole team who all work so hard.

Truly exceptional. Have been under the care of the plastic surgery team and I can not express enough how well the department is run. Also all staff I have met and dealt with have been true professionals and a credit to the hospital in general.

The staff here are so lovely! From the triage team through to health care assistants, surgical teams, the nurse in recovery was an Angel! I’m certain of it! I’m sad that I didn’t get her name because she was just so reassuring and so gentle with me when I woke up in a bit of an emotional state. The kindest blue eyes to wake up to! Your presence and help carried me through what I found to be a really frightening time. I suffer with anxiety and you helped me perfectly! So, thank you! Whoever you are!

The nurses on the ward were all very attentive and so lovely and friendly. They just made it all so much easier for me by anticipating what I needed and being available at a moments notice. So kind!

The young man on triage at reception has a wonderful way about him and I noticed how he put people at ease and was so well spoken.

This is a fantastic team throughout!

Terrible Genetic department. The absolute bane of the NHS. Always losing test results. Probably the god-awful management they have there. The higher-ups in the Genetic labs should be immediately fired and replaced with fewer, actually competent managers.

Magda Day Surgery/L2. Exceptional human being. No words are enough to describe her caring and understanding, she had the workload of several nurses but still found time to worry about me. I only wish all the staff in this department were more like her. Thank you Magda so very much.

It was my first time doing full anastesia operation in this hospital.
Can't praise enough the nurses, so incredibly kind and professional, the anaesthesiologists, the great surgeon Liam Masterson, the settings.

All staff polite and helpful. Had long wait before treatment. This could have been more comfortable and less claustrophobic.
