I’ve been here in A&E since 2am - a time given to me through 111. It’s now 9am. I wonder if someone will find my bleached bones in a month or so.

NOTE: I have now been seen by the doctor and have amended my rating from 1 to 3 stars because they certainly saved my bacon today. Gave me antibiotics and sent sample to lab etc. I would not have got this sorted via the GP (what GP?) so quickly. Very grateful in the end.

But still, that wait! Ugh!

Extremely disappointed by this hospital. The Waiting time was 9 hours be seen by a doctor, what an absolute joke. My family member went into A&E around about 9pm yesterday and left early hours 5.30am… she was unable to wait any longer to be seen by a doctor, left the hospital feeling extremely tired and exhausted.
I had to call the hospital to see what was going on…and I had to point out to them this was not acceptable as the patient is high priority and is a heart patient. Their response was sorry we only have 2 doctors on duty…really!!!

So drunk patients and people escorted in by the police are high priority and get seen to before the patients that are at higher risk.

I have never come across such poorly managed hospital and after reading the reviews on here it seems like this problem of long waiting time is a common issue!!!

On one review about the receptionist in the A&E spot on… because my family member was told you’ve been assigned to a doctor you will be seen next, but next never came. So when I called in half an hour later the receptionist decided to pass me on to the nurse who then told me a doctor was just assigned as we spoke.
This hospital is an absolute joke!!

I’ve just spent 2 days in the hospital and cannot speak highly enough about the staff. Everyone from the security through to the surgical team were fantastic and attentive. The nurses were beyond kind and helpful. The only negative point I can think of is the horrid and horrific behaviour of patients coming and going and the abuse they fired at the hard working staff. Absolutely terrible.

I was admitted to Wexham Park hospital on 5 June for four weeks and transferred to Royal Free hospital. I must congratulate the Wexham for having so caring and professional staffs from cleaners, kitchen, nurses, staff nurses, doctors and consultant. . My wad was changed six times and I can’t remember the names of all, only Staff nurse Choe and her team in ward 17, Alexandra and her team in ward 6, My fantastic consultant Dr Power and her team. Thank you all.

*The activities lady, Joyce, was really nice and she did spent some time with my daughter.

I was rushed in by ambulance as I had a perforated appendix. The staff were amazing they helped me on my recovery ❤️‍🩹 I was admitted for 12 days as had a secondary infection. They were fast to treat that, the staff could not do enough for me as I had no family there at this time. Flawless and 10/10. They saved my life and the aftercare was second to none. Thankyou 🙏 ❤️

I had a appointment at Wexham Park Hospital this morning, so thought I’d try their customer cafe there. Well on appearance it was dishevelled, and not very clean within seating table area. Then as I ordered a bacon roll and tea , I noticed no one was wearing masks 😷 now I thought that would have been mandatory, especially as one of the Chinese female
Staff had a awfully bad cough ! But I had ordered so didn’t walk out. But the bacon in the roll had seen better days ! It was hard and very dry too. As it all seemed unhygienic for a setting within a hospital, it wasn’t the best of experiences. All in all needs upgrade on hygienic info for staff to adhere to , and food bettered !

After falling off my bike and breaking 8 bones I have to say all the way from the Ambulance crew to trauma team, ward nurses, doctors, ward cleaners and the lovely lady who bought round tea and toast in the morning…we’re absolutely fantastic. I was treated with respect, professionalism and all with a smile. Thank you to the whole team who looked after me throughout my unplanned 3 day stay 🙏
