Ashford Hospital

For 2 days I called 3 times a day to schedule unanswered blood tests. today I went personally and without a solution. Given that I have a severe health problem that is exacerbated by the NHS, they told me carelessly that I had to insist on calling the appointment, but they didn't care to answer the phone. and it takes me hours to get to the hospital because I miss the buses and etc. problems created by that cyst on my brain!

I had breast surgery yesterday and was extremely anxious about everything from the general anaesthetic to just all of it.. the staff, surgeon nurses and everyone who was involved were caring and so kind and professional. I couldn’t have felt safer they even managed for the first time ever in a hospital to bring my blood pressure down. I cannot thank all the staff enough as I felt sick to the core before I arrived,

Not as good as it used to be. I had a very bad experience today in the blood test department. I booked in, then got called only to be told to "get a form from from reception" as my blood test was arranged by my gp. I went to get a form only to be told the same thing. Well, I got my form. Went through the usual questions. The phlebotomist didn't seem to like it when I questioned the tubes. She was quite rude aswell, telling me to keep my arm straight ( I couldn't get it any straighter than straight)! To top it off, she almost hit a nerve, it was quite painful! I've never had this problem before! I'm really not impressed 😐

After my second pilgrimage to Diamond Scissors, barber from hell, 10/10 would recommend. I contracted osteoporosis. Waited 7 hours to be diagnosed with leukaemia, wouldn't recommend.

I had a surgery at Ashford hospital and everyone were soo lovely. The staff of nurses and doctors are amazing, they really take care of you.
Food and portions were good too.

I called the walk-in centre night before and spoke to a lovely lady called Kam. She explained the system and suggested I arrived before they opened so I didn’t have to wait very long.
I did just that being reassured.
Kam remembered me today and had my details ready. Only waited 10 minutes and seen promptly and efficiently by lovely nurse practitioner. I should have gone when I hurt my finger 3-4 weeks ago as it was too late. But at least I know and couldn’t have had a better experience. So don’t delay like I did and phone if concerned. Thank you for your help.

I want to express my respect and gratitude for a very good experience at the department of ophthalmology on 31st of January, 2023,, for YAG laser posterior capsulotomy.
