My friend managed to kill her self at this hospital, do NOT recommended this hospital at all.

Sent relative home still in bad mental crisis and with no medication,incompetent and shoddy treatment!

The mental health ward in Lanchester Road hospital is absolutely awful, and if anything makes the patients worse than when they went in. Some of the staff are absolute bully's with the patients because they assume no one will believe a patient with mental health illness!

As long as you tell the staff what you are doing, times, buses ect. You will be looked after and be granted leave. 😎⚽🍿🍔📞☕🍬🍓🍚🍳.

I got a third degree burn at this hospital and the staff didn’t even call out a dr. I went on leave and visited my local urgent care centre where I was told I needed a referral to Newcastle RVI for skin grafts. The staff care little about the patients. Facilities aren’t very comfortable. Avoid if possible.

What a nightmare not sure of his name but one of the staff likes to wind you up when your not well. Every time im in thay half my painkillers and im left in withdrawal I had to start hearing voices before thay diagnosed me .. its ridiculous for prn medication you get 1mg of lorazepam what dose not work or 25mg promethrzine that dose nothing I had to get tablets from patients once I was a diagnosed paranoid spiczo thay started to treat me different ... I will never go into a mental health hospital agin Darlington is ten times worse
