Wow, just wow! I was admitted for about a day here and the service was nothing short of exemplary. The staff here are kind, friendly and exceptionally professional. My procedure was delayed for many hours, however, I was kept updated and given clear reasons behind the delays with options on the next steps. 5 star treatment all the way.

Side Note: Went through my PMI, Vitality which was a real pain, since every step of the way through a treatment they want to give you their blessings to take the next steps. Axa was so much better and hassle-free when I had to use them for a similar treatment a few years ago. All it took for them was a single phone call. With Vitality, I've had to go through about 5 phone calls each averaging around 30-45 minutes. Vitality should be paying me for my time and helping them with their admin.

I recently had a total hip replacement at Bishopswood hospital. Every level of care and treatment has been outstanding. Far too many names to mention but literally everyone deserves credit. I felt safe, secure and well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and I feel confident on my road to recovery.

I attended the hospital today for an MRI scan. From the minute I arrived, the service I received was impeccable. The scan was carried out by Josephine and Kish who were absolutely amazing. So kind and helpful and put me at ease. They were very friendly and welcoming which made my experience as pleasant as possible. PS. They have great coffee!! 😊 Thank you guys x

Lovely, caring staff. Friendly and they did everything they could to help me relax during the procedure. The Doctor was kind, reassuring and also did what he could to help me relax. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Altogether, everyone did what they could to help me.

BEWARE of the reviews - the service at this hospital during the DAY is very good - we have found the oncology nurses friendly, informative and supportive.
If you need to be attended to during the NIGHT you are going to experience a DIFFERENT standard altogether.
We have been attending this hospital over the past two weeks for my husband's treatment and have had a really mixed bag which has, unfortunately, included a couple of terrible nights - last night in particular was really awful (23 October 2022). Horrible experience from arrival to leaving - the nurse did not want to let us into the hospital via the most convenient entrance, did not introduce herself, did not show us to the treatment room, did not greet us at all, did not answer questions readily, did not check on my husband during his treatment, she just walked out of the treatment room when she had finished the treatment and did not even bother seeing us out of the building - shocking. The absolute worst bedside manner I have ever had the misfortune to witness - in fact, there were no manners at all. I would have thought that manners and a friendly disposition, apart from qualifications, obviously, would be one of the first prerequisites for a nurse looking after sick, vulnerable people attending a hospital, in particular at night when they are particularly fatigued and fragile.

I arrived early for an MRI and didn't have to wait. Josephine and Kishore were welcoming and total professionals. They made sure I was comfortable and provided headphones, so I could listen to music during the scan. Time flew!

I have been attending Bishops Wood Hospital over the past 6 months, following a knee injury. All of the staff including receptionists, consultant, physio and nurses etc have been attentive, knowledgeable and understanding throughout my treatment. The facilities are excellent and I could not have asked for more in aiding my recovery.

Friendly staff and great experience. I knew exactly what would happen throughout my stay, consultant was very clear and have me time to ask questions and post surgery care so far has been great. Very well organised and it seems like the team there all work together which you don’t see in many medical settings. Couldn’t fault it. Thanks to everyone.
