Ashtead Hospital

Writing this review on behalf of a relative without direct computer access; a very disappointing experience after going in for invasive back surgery. Brusque staff, no drinking water or soap in my room, poor communications (no communications from the surgeon either before/after surgery other than a very quick moment to sign a consent form). I would not choose to go back to Ashtead Hospital again and have submitted a complaint direct to the hospital also.

Two weeks on I still have zero information on what was actually done during the surgery.

On the plus side, some of the staff were very supportive/pleasant, it should be said.

Absolutely amazing. Did my surgery on the 5/05/22 and have nothing to complain about.

Dr. Omar Khan is absolutely fantastic! He is not only highly skilled, but also very empathetic and definitely the best doctor I ever had in my life. I cannot thank him enough for my bariatric surgery. He gave me a new and much better life! Gratitude🙏

My son came for day surgery...receptionists are very rude need customer care training..
Drs was amazing....Paula his nurse was lovely.......made him feel at ease.

I wouldn't even give them half a star, booked a dermatology consultation based on the information advertised on the hospital website, the appointment lasted less the 10 minutes charged £210, and the consultant referred me to Amazon to buy a product, no prescription, no invoice and I was told I will receive a " letter of advice" . there weeks now and no letter, no advice, just made to feel like a fool paying all that money to be referred to Amazon. I had to complain and demanded full refund, but I am very annoyed for the waste of time.

From the very start to the finish my Mother and I would like to thank everyone at Ashtead Hospital for organising and especially Mr Cobb for giving her a full replacement knee.
For eight months my Mother couldn’t walk for more than 100 or so yards and now she is back to normal life!

I had surgery at Ashtead Hospital today.

The staff are just amazing. Extremely polite and professional! I was feeling very anxious but was put at ease very quickly by the staff.

Angie was looking after me today. Even thought she was busy she did all she could do to make me as comfortable as possible. Very much appreciated!
