Unfortunately I spent a day here yesterday due to a serious accident. So not only did I receive care I also observed care. The hospital was very busy, they didn't have enough beds for people in A&E. Some people were on stretches on corridors and others in seats. But the staff were amazing. Dealt with people, were kind, calming, friendly. They were lovely. Its also very clear that this hospital needs more resourses, but that's a government decision. I'd like to say thank you to all the staff that cared for me.

Went today for emergency scan. The nursing and sonography staff were amazing, friendly, efficient and genuinely caring. Just wish lady in the blood taking unit had listened to my repeated request to use the butterfly needles. I asked 3 times not to use the normal needles to get blood from my hands, but she appeared to not give a damn and left me feeling violated, and in pain. I reported this to the nurse in thrombosis clinic. If you lack empathy don't work in health care. You are letting the side down.!

On holiday here and tore my calf muscle. Cannot thank the a and e staff enough for their outstanding care. They were all rushed off their feet but they were concerned about making me as comfortable as possible
A 3 and a half hour visit from start to finish is fantastic. Thank you all, the only names I can recall are Gwenda and Peter! You are amazing, thanks for looking after me!

My partner just had a C section. Absolutely brilliant care and support given from all departments. Everything explained in detail at the pre op Op day the surgical midwife was so nice. So patient and genuinely seamed to love what she did. Operating staff amazing caring knowledgable and made us feel safe in an overwhelming situation. Then the midwife’s on the maternity unit in fact every one on that ward down to the lovely people that came and made sure my partner was fed. So nice so caring couldn’t do enough for us. Made the delivery of our little boy all the more special. Thank you all so much.

I have had to go to A & E twice in the last 2 months, I found the treatment second to none the cleanliness was exceptional the waiting time wasn't too long and they found the problem and I am now on waiting list for operation. This is an exceptional hospital.

Spent 3 days getting my leg pinned, surgery and all staff where 100%. 8 hours waiting for ambulance but that's not the staffs problem. Really hope the government can sort things out. Maybe when they are sitting down to their tax payers christmas meal they can think of the hospitals.

Having recently undergone surgery for a Hip Replacement. I would like to express my extreme thanks to Mr. Solar... his staff also all the nursing staff...Annmarie - "M" and everyone on Enili Ward for their exceptional care. The hospital I found to be clean, especially on the ward. Full marks for the food too!
Well done to you all at Ysbyty Gwynedd
