My experience was very good. Never felt uncomfortable here at all. Nurses were lovely and the surgeon that examined me was awsome, very clear in his explanation. I was disappointed in the people parking in the hospital car park they were not going to the hospital they were going out for the day on a bus, about 60 of them, very selfish.

Brought my partner to see a specialist here. The car parks & access roads are not adequate for the amount of traffic using them. We have a VW Transporter and it was a tight squeeze negotiating the narrow roads and there were no spaces anywhere so I had to drop him off and wait for him out on the main road. I know this isn’t the fault of hospital staff but maybe the appointment letters could mention that parking is very limited and not suitable for larger vehicles?

The plethora of signs for the multitude of departments are impossible to read and when driving the ability to read all the signage is impossible. When and if you can find a parking space, the actual departments are well hidden with no overall site map for patients to follow easily.

Parts of this hospital are the second oldest NHS estates in Wales and it shows. Too many services have been withdrawn including GP out of hours, minor injuries and the stroke unit. Temporary accomodation was placed here during the second world war and is still in use.

Very good mental health unit. Clean and bright with brilliant caring staff. Looking after me so well, couldn't ask for anything more. I feel very safe and cared for.
