Ogwen Valley Bunkhouse

Great cosy bunkhouse. Has everything you need. Beautiful views and a great host and owner Gwyn. My second stay but will definitely recommend.

Pure quality , great place, great venue, great host. The bunkhouse offers you a lot more then an average bunkhouse and at a cracking price. The location is spot on for exploration around Ogwen. Gwyn (the host) has put a lot of time, though and energy into making the place a cracking venue .

I regularly use bunkhouses all over the UK and this has to be the most comfortable and well looked after one that I have found so far. I cant believe other people gave less than 5 stars. For a bunkhouse this is luxurious with small rooms of 4 beds, proper matresses, indoor facilities with nice hot showers, underfloor heating throughout and even WiFi. Unbeatable.

I'll never forget my stay with Gwyn at Ogwen Valley Bunkhouse. I stayed during my Dissertation for 5weeks in summer 2019 along with my MTB. He helped me out with a house and a cloth to wash my bike and was just genuinely a lovely bloke with a lovely dog ❤️ big recommend

Cracking bunkhouse: ideal location in Ogwen Valley, easy to find. Cosy and practical with great layout, drying room, hot showers, well-equipped kitchen and original features. Friendly host. Highly recommended.

Stayed here twice now (June 21 & Oct 21), this is the only bunkhouse that I've stayed in and am told that this is the ritz of the bunkhouse world. The bunkhouse has 3 bedrooms 2x 4 beds and 1x 6 bed, 3 toilets and 2 showers. The beds are quite comfy, showers are warm and powerful and the kitchen has most items you need to cater for most party sizes. There is also a coin operated drying room, so make sure to take your £1 coins. This bunkhouse is ideally located for anyone wanting to get out in the Ogwyn Valley area being a mere 5 minute drive from Llyn Ogwyn. If you need any bits and pieces Bethesda has a Tesco Express again a short 5-10 minute drive away.

An excellent bunkhouse hosted by the incredibly friendly Gwyn and Fflos.

Mr ogwin is an excellent host. Very nice and clean place. Very reasonable price. Will visit again.
