Our room (leet 3) was lovely. Great comfy furniture in a boutique style, all in well kept condition. Comfy big (super king) bed,. Spacious bathroom with roll-top bath and large separate shower.

Excellent food (amongst the best quality I’ve had) in their large but still cosy and atmospheric restaurant.

Friendly helpful and professional staff.

Beautiful village location.

We came here for lunch and had a fantastic afternoon. Beautiful location, lovely atmosphere and utterly delicious food. A really wonderful menu, everything was superb. A big thank you to Bob who was really friendly and kind to the little one (and spoilt our dog!).

We had a great lunch - they were very accommodating to our party of 13 (and a dog!) in the private dining room. Food was excellent and staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

Exceptional lunch dish today. Met two friends who greatly enjoyed the Cornish Bass but I have to drool over the wood pigeon that I enjoyed. It was beautifully presented wrapped in a light pastry case and served pink as it should be with a delicious slightly tart fruit coulis. Sadly none of us could manage a pudding but we will certainly be back for another scrumptious lunch. Highly recommend this place. Paddy Seligman

We went for Sunday lunch, they have 2 really nice garden pods outside.. it was fun, the Sunday Roast was very good, I had the beef, it was cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire pudding was large... we recieved good service and We will definitely return.

Spent 3 days at the hotel for a fly fishing trip. Staff was cordial. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner - did not have a chance to have lunch there. Portions were generous, flavours were full and service was great. It gave me a sense of being in an historic place while being treated like a local. Loved it!

Wonderful place and a must visit if you come to the Stockbridge or Hampshire. We had a starter of potato and leeks soup, two Sunday roasts of beef and pork, the food was exquisite and portion size very reasonable. Customer service was very warm and welcoming. Had a great lunch here. The soup is a must try. Thank you team.
