Chandos Premier Hotel Folkestone - Channel Tunnel

Booked a deluxe double room for one night. I checked in early around 9am and my room was ready. The landlord was very helpful and my stay was amazing! Would definitely book there again.

Was greeted by a friendly gentleman on arrival. Room was well equipped. Comfortable bedding & mattress. Would recommend - great value for money!

This was the most basic room I have stayed in for a long while; single bed, basin, shared Toilet. The bed was clean and the room did not smell, so for £50 it gave me the six hours sleep I needed

Nice play to stay, very close to immediate amenities such as shops and the beach front. Room was well kept and cosy. Owner was also very helpful and welcoming.

If I could give this zero I would!! First of all the customer service we received before our stay was disgusting! we phone several times not able to get hold of anyone and no way to leave a message. when we did get hold of them we wanted to discuss the cancellation policy as very confusing on the email I had 1 bit saying about 127 days another 127 hours and then another bit saying with zero days notice no charge so asked the question the gentleman didnt know the answer! After us saying if we were going to just loose deposit we would cancel and him still not able to confirm answer he hung up on my husband. I then saw in my bank account he had taken the whole stay amount. he then phoned and told me because we didnt give the correct notice he has taken the whole payment, then hung up on me as well. My husband trying to get hold of him again and got the phone put down on him 6 times before able to say we will be coming as he has taken the whole amount!

Now the stay! this is not Premier in the slightest. the outside very warn with food all over the bins very dirty. inside very worn down pictures on website do not show correct state of the 'hotel'. bed sheets worn and not looking very clean, toilet dirty and had to be cleaned, stubble on shelve, shower I think you would of come out dirtier than you were before. Very little toilet roll in the room. though out the night people were knocking and trying to check in but there was no answer at the door so this kept us awake most of the night. I would not stay here ever again and would recommend none stay here either!!
