Perfectly located in the centre of Canterbury which made my evening out with friends easier. The room was a double room which was very clean with good quality bedding and complimentary products. The location of the room faced on to a side street but it was well insulated against noise. All the staff I encountered were all helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Went to the abode for a wedding. The service there was very well carried out, only issue is we were moved from room to room to room(down and upstairs). I'm originally from Canterbury and would say location is perfect if you want bang in the centre of town. Close to everything, but parking will be an issue. I was in utter shock by the bar prices, £10.50 for one white wine and £4 for a lemonade. The bathrooms for a 'luxury' hotel were horrendous. I had to mention it three times until something was done about it. To be fair on there part they eventually told me it was so male staff on. But the toilet rolls were empty apart from the one that was sat on a soaking wet toilet floor. The sink tops were sodden, soaps empty and the toilets themselves were not clean. You'd think with an event on which must've cost the bride and groom thousand's they would check them more.
Staff were polite and opened doors for your smiling. The good served was lovely, would recommend the beef and the lemon tart, had a lovely sauce with a kick.

Can't think of any moans about this place. In fact the reverse. At a conference. Impressed by staff and service, cleanliness etc. Not cheap but worth it. Very near cathedral. Only issue is if you have a window over high street obviously will hear all that is going on at night but that's not hotel's fault and is the downside of being so amazingly central.

I was recommended this hotel actually after I had booked it, but what a lovely hotel, staff were so professional and friendly, which is what you want, we dropped our bags off early and were pleasantly surprised when they had been taken to our hotel room for us, I thought that was a nice touch. The cocktails are amazing, the hot chocolate is very nice and the breakfast is great!!

The room itself was clean, lovely and modern, we didn’t actually want to leave in the end!! Would or will be recommending to anyone else visiting Canterbury in the future!! Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

I came for a drink in the bar. It was very quiet so not much atmosphere. The drinks aren't cheap and sadly the service didn't live up to the inflated prices. Overall, its okay but perhaps there are better suited places in Canterbury to enjoy a drink and relax.

Old coaching house but large hotel with nice rooms. In very central location in the centre of Canterbury. The service is excellent and very attractive from a smart and friendly set of staff across all disciplines. Super high class evening dinner menu and great full breakfast all impeccably served to you fresh and hot

A beautiful hotel in heart of Canterbury City Centre. Bar on Friday evening had piano music and a lovely roaring fire in the fireplace making it homely and relaxing.
Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order.
