Down from Scotland working, the hotel is nice and clean, the rooms are a good size and the staff are very helpful and friendly, all in all a very pleasant stay.

This hotel is superb. I note a rather low overall rating and I am at a loss to know why. The decor isn't tired its a style, a very up market style. I didn't know that we could stay in such an upper echelon place for their rates. The bed is so comfortable and blinking massive, great water supply for the shower and good tv too, everything you could want.

First impressions not good, cobwebs in reception, kettle did not work, no air conditioning, mega tired overall and generally depressing. I guess Bob Potter leisure doesn't give a toss about this excuse for a hotel this is the rich south where money and business come easy.

No air con or fans and the long heatwave were having and all the guest complaints about how hot the rooms are but nothing they can do about it. Surely if everyone is saying it's too hot then you should do something about it.

Arrived late and check in was quick and staff were helpful. However the hotel decor, fixtures and fittings are tired and need modernising.

Why one tea bag? One coffee sachet and two milk cuplets? So, drink before bed or in morning. Not both.

Does what it says on the tin . Large rooms a bit dated but clean and everything was in good order.
Surely if everyone is saying it's too hot then you should do something about it.
