Holiday Inn Express Tamworth, an IHG Hotel

Arrival and booking in was easy and all staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel cleanliness an all public rooms and my bedroom area was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and well laid out. Unfortunately on the night of my stay there was no food available in the hotel but they had notices up advising this. Overall a very comfortable and well appointed hotel. I will be staying again.

Rooms needed a little TLC and the pull out bed was broken but it was late when we arrived and didn't like to make a fuss. We propped it up for our son and the sofa bed made it through the night. Breakfast was fantastic and staff great. Great location

We arrived at the end of the day, tired, hot and hungry. As soon as we were checked-in by the friendly and efficient staff, we were able to relax. We appreciated the availability of a late evening meal and bar service, great bathroom facilities, and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed a much needed sleep, before a great buffet breakfast in the morning. The staff were amazing, very responsive to our needs, and kind. Excellent value and a convenient location too.

The hotel (1.9.22) was absolutely fine but the 5 stars relates to the two staff having to deal with the reception, bar and restaurant in the evening. They were short of drink at the bar and food in the restaurant but the staff couldn’t be more helpful, offering a free dinner due to a wait. Well done

Great location; suffering from lack of Brexit staff. Our bed had wheels which we found out next morning were supposed to have stoppers so we spent a wheelie night. Big stickers saying can provide you with forgotten things but no comb when asked. Staff v friendly. Breakfast fine.

We were allocated room 110 which is above the hotel entrance and outdoor smoking area. Unfortunately our first night was disturbed by late returning party goers who stood outside until 0245. Otherwise a very good stay with friendly staff, good breakfast and comfortable room. Late check out was really appreciated. Very handy location for many attractions in the midlands. Leisure centre next door and local restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were friendly. It was great value for money and was a great location for shopping and for Drayton Manor Theme park. Only disappointing thing was the size of the 2nd bed in the family room. It was so small our daughter had to sleep between us as there wasn't enough room in the ultra small double sofa bed.

Fabulous Hotel, great location for places like Drayton Manor Resort just down the road. Rooms are a good size and the ensuite shower is huge. The buffet breakfast is nice in the morning too but recommend getting down early as not a lot of seating in the restaurant area
