The overall hotel is showing its age now. Its in serious need of a revamp as it's worn and signs wear in the hotel rooms. If there's a wedding on, don't expect to sleep a wink either!

The facilities are pretty standard, not bad sized pool, sauna and a very small gym with cardio machine a handful of weights. However they charge you...the guests for a £1 deposit to use a towel... Are we back in the 1990's? No hotel with spa and leisure facilities ever does this. Just found it super odd especially as a staying guest.

The rooms are pokey, but good enough for your needs, but as I say, if a wedding is on, there won't be much sleeping.

Food is generally quite good to be fair, best part of the hotel in all honesty.

If you need to get your head down, it's not a bad place to stay, but be warned it just looks very worn down and tired in places. I think they are planning on some renovations but have yet to see this.

Also no one was on the desk to be seen when checking out.. left the keys on the desk and left.

Stay their for two nights.
Had a back room looking over the garden work in progress. When finish will be lovely looking out the window and sit as well. Service very happy with. Room I stayed in really good but just need a little touch up. And would be perfect. If I am up that way again I would stay there again.and would recommend it to other people.

We booked around 13 rooms as a group and we had a function at Princess Suite. Considering the capacity of the booking, only few discounts were provided. The price per room still seemed a bit expensive compared to the standards they were at. There wasn’t a/c in the room so it was very warm and uncomfortable. There was only one working a/c in the Function room due to which it was a bit warm. Nonetheless, the food was great. Particularly, the staff namely Alex and Laxman were great. They were so helpful. Kuddos to them.

However, the lady staff with blazer at the breakfast was a bit rude with our kids. Kids are also guests and should be treated as one. It was a bit disappointing.

Over all a mediocre experience.

Location is good! Staffs were nice but rooms were too small and didn't have Air conditioner or Fan. It's hottest day of UK and no AC, couldn't sleep all night!

On arrival to the hotel it seemed quite nice, wasn’t a very warm welcome or helpful, they didn’t tell us anything bar where our room was. When we got to our room we were instantly regretting our choice of hotel, it looked very tired but appeared to be at least a clean enough standard until we started settling and moved the beds together for our child. I have never seen dust like it. It was literally clumps of dust like hairballs the size of half my fist. It’s clearly never been cleaned. Not good for an asthmatic person or baby. The beds are the worst I’ve ever slept on, so soft you can feel the springs and it actually hurt to lay down. If the carpets were cleaned I would have considered sleeping on the floor. In the morning we went for breakfast. The Highchair had food crusted on the table. We asked for this to be wiped, the staff half wiped some of it off exclaiming that’s the best they could do :S we stayed for another couple of minutes until a piece of stale bread and ham fell on my child’s lap totally putting us off eating there we made our excuses and left without breakfast. We asked for this to be refunded which they did so. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Great hotel. Room was a single, ample for what I needed. Very clean and the food in the restaurant was amazing. We had Indian food and it was fantastic. Restaurant staff lovely. Would definitely return and recommend

Had a lovely stay. Our twin room with disabled access was cosy and clean. The restaurant and lounge areas were nice. The food was excellent (I had the chickpea curry which was delicious). The pool was a bit cold but using the sauna as well was nice. Staff were friendly enough.

Had a very nice overnight stay here. Rooms are comfortable and the whole hotel a very nice standard. Staff welcoming and friendly, breakfast very good. I feel I had great value for money having booked a little in advance as prices did go up nearer the date of my stay.
