I arrived the day before the hottest day of the year so far. I was uncomfortably hot. I opened my room door to a fan that was already running and put the room at a wonderful temperature. Absolutely brilliant. I was so grateful. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even going so far as researching the opening times of a nearby shop I needed. Brilliant stay. Thank you

It was the middle of the heatwave and we got told there was no air-conditioning, when we arrived. We had a wheezy fan as an alternative.

Air-conditioning had clearly been out of order long enough for clients to get an earlier warning than at sign in to allow us to try for alternatives. I had no sleep as the driver and had to do another 4 hours through Cornish roads with little kids in the back, on the next day.

Unmerciful business practice. The actual customer-facing people were good as usual.

A clean hotel at the services, The room was very uncomfortably hot, on a normal summers night (cool outside). A fan was permanently running and the windows were open, but that made no noticeable difference. We couldn't sleep with heat and road noise. The friendly staff were aware of the issues, other guests were complaining, but the view was, nothing can be done.

Stayed here one night, room stunk of smoke and informed the receptionist on arrival.
To then find a week later we were billed £100 for ‘smoking in the room’ I have complained and they’ve rejected it. Will definitely not be going back. Shame as use premier inn weekly.

Staff are amazing as usual for PI. However, Charlotte who works as a waitress in the restaurant is the most amazing woman. This woman works through difficult times but still smiles. She has a zest for happiness and if all women from her era had the same stance and attitude to life the country would be a better place.
Thank you for making my days!

This was our first stay in a Premier Inn. Honestly we can't fault it. Great service from the reception staff when booking in. Our room was spotless. Plenty of extra pillows and quilts in our room. Possibly the best bed we have ever slept in from a budget hotel. We had dinner and breakfast at the on site restaurant, again service was fantastic, food on par with with major chains. We also had breakfast to order. We will be staying here again and will book with Premier Inn again

Lovely place, and definitely value for money. Great for a business or family trip. Their family room are quite spacious and the restaurant and pub (Cookhouse) has a diverse kids menu plus an indoor kids play area.

And if you need a midnight quick bite, they have a subway and a service station shop open 24hrs.

And ofcourse, it has Wheel chair accessibility.

Great for a short stay. Nice places to eat nearby or right next door. Bed was very comfy. Good shower. Only small issue I had was road noise.
