I cannot fault this place. We were greeted warmly, check in was quick and easy, and we were shown to our room - which was amazing.

The bed was big, warm, and comfy, the room spacious, and apart some noise from the bar below up to around 10pm, was very quiet.

The continental breakfast was lovely, plentiful, and set us up nicely for the day.

We only interacted with three people who work there, Martin (a Director) Ben, and Corrina. Each of them were lovely, knowledgeable, and accomadating.

I would love to stay here again.

We recently had Sunday lunch from the carvery at this lovely old hotel. It was fantastic, a generous helping of delicious, hot well cooked food, the dessert and drinks were lovely as well and the service was great from friendly and efficient staff. We will visit again and would recommend it.

We had a lovely meal here, the staff were very welcoming, helpful and very accommodating for our children. The beer garden is also very nice with a lovely play area which our daughters enjoyed. Highly recommended

Booked in for a meal for my Mother's 90th Birthday. The drinks and starters arrived promptly and were nice. It was a carvery night and that's where the problems lie. The food was lukewarm at best and very quickly went cold. Once we had our food we were ignored. No one checked that we were okay. No one asked if we wanted more drinks. We were going to order dessert, but sat for over 15 minutes after we had finished our main course without the plates being cleared or anyone coming near us. My mother then decided she'd had enough and wanted to go home. We asked for the bill. I walked my Mum back up to the car, came back down and still no bill had arrived. I asked for it 2nd time and we waited until another staff member came into the room to ask for a 3rd time. When I had made the booking I had stressed that it was my Mother's 90th Birthday. This was not acknowledged and I feel that just some attention to make the meal enjoyable would not have been too much to ask. Very disappointed to have such a landmark day marred.

Traditional hotel, offering clean rooms, good food and a great outdoor area. Just ignore Satnav as the carpark is off the Presteigne bypass. There are steps, so it may be a challenge for some. Great value. Will be back.

The Radnorshire Arms is a beautiful very old oak timbered building in the black and white style.
It is very rustic as a result, oozing ambience, history, comfort and great service.
The lunchtime food was superb, 5• quality, taste, choice, presentation, portion size, 3 of us all agreed on it.
I can't comment on the hotel side as we were only there for food but I'd guess it is good judging by everything else, a must visit place

Loved this place. We booked last minute and we were greeted by Martin, who is such a lovey man. He offered us a room upgrade and of course we took it. Room was perfect for us and Martin made our stay so much better. The breakfast was very basic but the rest of the food in the resturant was good. We will definitly be returning. Mark and Kayleigh

During a three night stay in Presteigne (not staying at this hotel) we made three visits to this Hotel for drinks and Sunday Lunch. The venue is oozing history and authenticity, and during our November visit the fire in the bar was roaring wonderfully. The food at the Sunday carvery was really good value and the staff were excellent. Hope to return sometime.
