I cant comment on the hotel side as we only came here to eat but I can honestly say the food we ate was amazing. It was rich in flavour and the best that I've eaten in a long time. We chose the lamb shank and had cheesy garlic bread for starters. A few of the dishes were sold out and they were busy so there was a bit of a wait, but boy was it worth it! They're offering the government eat out scheme too so we got a real bargain. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely location situated across the road to the famous Swallow Falls. The hotel complex caters mainly for tourists and groups who are into walking, hiking and hill climbing. Part of the large car park can accommodate camper vans. The hotel looked as if it needed a makeover and upgrade. My room was clean and tidy but the plumbing needed servicing in that the hot and cold water was temperamental. Breakfast was below standard, Lukewarm food, cold plates, no sauce or butter on my toast. My tabletop was sticky and needed a good clean. My evening meal was a much better experience, Fish & Chips highly recommended. The waterfall attraction is a must but be aware of the £2 turnstile entry fee and the steep steps if you're disabled. Handy if you need a walk into Betws y Coed which gets busy with traffic and tourists.

Had a great stay here, booked this as a one night weekend away. The hotel is in a great area next to swallow falls, which is a great site to see (entry to the falls is £2pp) some great walking areas around, when I arrived I just asked one of the team members and they directed me to all the great places within walking distance. We arrived a bit earlier than our check in time, and I went to reception to ask if I could leave my car here before check in and they went above and beyond, checked if our room was ready and let us check in early. The room was clean and full of all the necessary items required for our stay. We had our dog with us so there was an extra £10 charge, which is a good price. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the bar is lovely, and very well priced. For lunch and dinner we did not feel like we overpaid, and with breakfast included, we thought it was very good value for money!

This place is in a beautiful location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Yes, it could do with updating but we didn't go expecting marble tiles, gold toilet seats, hot tubs and fancy furnishings. If you're looking for a child and dog friendly hotel with lovely staff in stunning surroundings, then this is the place. The hotel staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome, particulary Rita and Becca on reception who bent over backwards to help us with anything we needed with a smile on their face. Also Tony and Jordan in the bar and restaurant for taking the time to make us, our children and our dogs feel so welcome when ever we saw them. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Swallow Falls Complex. 👍⭐

Very beautiful little place in the middle of nowhere. Staff are friendly and trusting. Sometimes has problems with card reader/Internet, but open and honest about it. Food is great quality (kids meals super big). Eat in or out with a little fudge shop to the side. Pay to park, but refunded when buy anything.

We started our visit to this hotel at the bar/restaurant for dinner and it was not a good start. First of all their food took quite a while to arrive. When it finally did arrive the servers had missed off an item that we ordered and refused to accept that it was her fault in any way. The servers made no effort to accommodate us well at all. While we were eating there were dogs barking out of control and overall the food was not that great either.

Next we went to our room. The bathrooms were very disappointing. The bathtub was stained brown and it was dirty. There were small packet of body wash and shampoo. If you have long hair you would have to use at least two of the small packets and you were not given many nor were they replenished after each day. The body wash had a foul odour making it very unpleasant to use. There was no conditioner available to use either. We had booked two rooms and the shower head in one would not stay up spraying water all over the bathroom and the toilet in the other room had a damaged flusher. Also they did not replenish any of our toiletries even though we stayed for two nights. They did not change or replace our towels or offer any type of housekeeping despite us being in a pandemic where everything should be cleaned and sanitised.

Now for the rooms themselves. If you decided that you wanted to watch the television there were only 6 channels one of which did not even work and the quality of the television was terrible. The WiFi password that we were given took many tries to finally load and the WiFi did not work in the room making it very unpractical especially if you needed to catch up with work. Upon returning to the room after a day out it was freezing cold with no obvious way to heat it up. The room we booked came with one double bed and a single bed on the side. The bed on the side was annoyingly uncomfortable as you could feel the springs beneath the mattress. Even if you did get a comfortable bed you would not be able to sleep due to how thin the walls were. You could hear other people talking in their rooms and people walking above us (though it sounded more like they were stomping). People were walking above us all night very loudly making it very difficult to sleep.

Finally when we went for breakfast the second day, we ordered croissants which came with nothing to put on it until we asked and the servers reluctantly brought us some butter and jam. Those were the only options. Also, there was less of a variety of food for breakfast as there were no more of certain types of cereal on the second day which was a big let down since we went down for breakfast quite early.

Overall it was not a pleasant stay at all. The service was terrible, the bathroom was disgusting and the rooms were very uncomfortable and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed 👎

SHOCKING!!! RUDE!!
- Bar & restaurant closed on a lovely summers day.
- No staff working
- Only Lady on site was extremely rude when we had a bag of crips on a bench in there garden. (We did purchase drinks from reception!)
- Lady then decided to tell other customers we are abusive.

This place has a great location and the opportunity to make a good trade. But if I was you I would avoid at all costs, even for a pint. (But you won’t get a pint)

A lesson in customer service is required!!!

Only thing worse than the staff is the food. I was sat in the corner and of the restaurant and was expecting basil faulty to arrive from the kitchen. The food was delivered by a waiter/chef with suspect stains all over him. The bar staff couldn't pour a pint and looked perplexed by the most basic drink orders. The burger was the worst meat imaginable when the meat is literally walking around on the hillside.
