The Plough Hotel & Restaurant

We had dinner here last night and found everything to be lovely. They sourced some high chairs for our babies/toddlers and gave us such friendly, helpful service. The baby change/disabled toilet was very well set up. Really appreciated the many gluten free options on the menu also. Would definitely come back if we lived local. This is one beautiful and welcoming hotel. As soon as we arrived all the staff were amazing and very friendly right until we left. Highly recommend, especially with dog lovers, the lower ground patio doors made it so easy to have our dog's early morning business 😀!. Also breakfast and their food was great... to the point that my hubby ordered Indian and we are Indian.

This is a wonderful place to eat out. The food and service are fantastic. We had our Christmas day dinner there last year and we couldn't fault any of it. We take our friends and family to this beautiful restaurant on special occassions. We haven't stayed in the hotel so cant rate the rooms, because we live locally.

Went here recently and I must say the downstairs is much better than the upstairs. Unfortunately, there was a wedding on downstairs so after waiting at the bar for over 10 minutes for no reason, it wasn't the best start - The staff could have directed us as soon as we came in.

The upstairs is a combination of an old cruise ship meets musty local town hall. It could do with some updating, it certainly doesn't make you feel you are enjoying a quiet cosy meal out.

The food we ordered was good, we had 3 courses and 2 drinks each and we were enjoying the quality and the portion sizes of each course, but when we came to pay, the guy just ran off. We were left at our table for a considerable amount of time. We then had to find someone, the person we did find was on the phone for 10 minutes so it was frustrating to have to wait 45 minutes to pay for the bill.

First time going into the Plough to have a meal with eight friends. None of the eight were disappointed, there were different meals and drinks ordered. Even though they were short staffed you wouldn't have noticed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend it to anyone passing to call in for a drink or a meal.

Stunning hotel, rooms are very clean high standard beautiful views. Excellent parking facilities. Food is so delicious and impeccably presented. Efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Plough Inn for your stay in the Brecon Beacons.

Wonderful location, efficient friendly and helpful staff, several of which were incredibly thoughtful and respectful. Also a great warm atmosphere. I'd recommend this hotel for weddings (they are super at it), relaxing breaks and business. Thank you for a great time 😊

Had Sunday lunch struggled to slice the meat with a butter knife, they should have given out steak knifes. Lovely place clean looking and plenty of staff running around. Why they charge so much as the food I have to say we have had a better meal in a standard pub or carvery. Nothing special I'm afraid.
