Hello,

Myself and boyfriend stayed here in late September for the night. We stayed in the very special 'Rosie' the 150 year old gypsy caravan, complete with wood burner.
Our hosts we very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and we felt very accommadated.
The accommadation was clean and characterful, and as important as cleanliness- comfortable.
Beautiful surroundings- the view out the caravan was lovely overlooking the Elan Valley.
The animals make it a great fun destination for children and adults alike. The Rias were very friendly (or hungry) I'm not sure which. :-) and it was lovely to meet the owls and other birds of pray, amongst other animals at this working farm.
Lovely! A unique and fun experience. I wish our hosts Kat and Tim every success with the expansion of the falconry centre.

Lovely little caravan, nice personal fire place for cold nights. No shower, WiFi or electrics but just adds to the rustic experience. Walks and falconry available and I highly recommend.

We stayed in the the rosie gypsy caravan for one night to celebrate our anniversary in the middle of feb, and i have to say everything was lovely and just what we were looking for! first impressions were wonderful, animals every where! emus, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, geese, llamas (or alpacas, not sure), rabbits, guinea pigs, peackocks and a falconary. I would book again however there are a few things I would like to point out. Our trip was very spontaneous, we rang only a couple of hours before hand to see if they had any space available and as it was off season I would say that some of the kitchen facilities could have been better organised, but we found everything we needed. Also it was colder than we thought, meaning that toilet and kitchen trips were off putting. the cabin would take a while to heat up to the point we didn't need jumpers or blankets (no more than an hour or so) and we had to keep the window closed most of the time. But when it was open and we were snuggled under the blanket, the view was stunning! especially at night when the stars came out! the location is remote enough to have no light or noise pollution, but close enough to civilisation if you wanted to eat out. We went for a drive round Elan valley, which is highly recommended!

If we were to come back again in Feb, I would give them more notice and possibly wear more appropriate clothing and footwear so that we could enjoy the outdoors more! I would also stay more than one night.

Amazing fun place to visit, host welcoming and lots to see. Shepherds hut beautifully presented and well equipped. Will be a superb venue once the showering facilities are complete. :)
