Arrived this evening in Cwmbran having travelled all day by four different coaches, so was feeling quite tired. Upon entering the lobby we were greeted by a smiley member of staff. She was so lovely and helpful, it really was a joy to be welcomed by Pamela, her energy was contagious.
Pamela assisted with sorting an ironing board for our room and arranged for our breakfast in the restaurant next door in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble.
Stayed in many Premier Inns and sadly sometimes they feel sterile and forgetful, but from the moment we stepped into the Cwmbran hotel we really did get a real taste of Welsh hospitality.

I've now probably stayed in over a hundred different premier inns, and this is the best one. I thought that the last time I stayed here, and realised it again this time.
It's hard to say exactly why - it's a premier inn, so you get exactly what you expect - but everything feels just a little bit better than it is in all the others. The staff are friendlier, the rooms are cleaner, the food is better, even the air seems fresher.
It has to be down to the staff and management - they've got exactly the same to work with as every other premier inn - but somehow they make it better.
I don't often bother to review premier inns unless they stand out - and that's normally for the wrong reasons - but not so here.

Friendly staff , very comfortable room with everything you need....large car park and the best breakfast we have had in many years...will definitely pay another visit in the future ...This is the second visit to a premier Inn and so far the service has been consistent which is refreshing..

Had a nice stay. Only stayed for the one night but all went well. Was a bit worried about the noise from the road. I needn't have worried I didn't hear a thing

Front of house & service staff very friendly & helpful. Rooms, as always with Premier Inns, well proportioned with a very comfortable bed which helped ensure a good night's sleep. Shame the interior of the property seemed tired & dated. The TV was so small it was like watching stick insects playing football, think a 40" rather than 20" would have been nearer the mark. Problems with the WiFi didn't help, but we were advised of this at reception & it was offered free of charge. However it worked well enough to download & upload emails etc & search the web, but not able to stream programs.

The hotel is welcoming, clean and close to all amenities. Special mention to Ben who was very helpful to us and great at his job.
