Rooms are clean and well equipped. They are let down by not having any Air-conditioning.
Everyone working at the hotel are friendly, very courteous and professional.
There is a very family feel to the atmosphere.
Location is good for road access. If you need public transport, the town centre or the beach, there is a long walk.

I stayed there recently and was charged £170 for a one night stay , the bed was big and the room was clean but that was it ,
The room I had (23) had a very small sink and trying to have a shave water just went everywhere although I did clean it up .

There was no air con in the room ( they did provide a fan) or the restaurant and due to the recent hot weather we’ve been having it was not a pleasant experience to say the least .

Also for my £170 I got offered a Room only deal so no breakfast was included ( certainly wasn’t a deal for me!!) .

I will be returning to Aberystwyth but I will definitely not be staying here again

Great spacious room. Very clean. Usual toiletries/tea/ coffee etc.
Nice lounge bar also serving food, looked good but I didn't eat.
Staff were very pleasant.
Opposite Morrison supermarket & McDonald's. A little walk into town but manageable.
Electric Charging points for cars. Free good parking.

My son and myself stayed in this hotel for only one night, and the experience we had was extremely fantastic. The room had everything you could need, and was very comfortable, and all at an extremely good price, plenty of parking and all of the staff were so very polite and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would definitely go back again.

Interesting setting beside a main road, & off a roundabout. When we arrived, late afternoon, we stood around for ages with increasing impatience after a tiring journey, waiting for the receptionist to return to the welcome desk. (Turned out she’d gone to the bar for a glass of water & maybe a catch up with colleagues? Who knows.)
Our room was large, modern, well appointed and clean. (Towels were small bath towels, not bath sheets like elsewhere we’ve stayed but reception kindly provided extra towels so if you ask they’ll provide!)
Room 27 overlooks a large flat development site, maybe being prepped for a car park? The site was inactive so there was no noise to trouble us & the window glass is obscured (which is a bit strange) so no privacy issues.
We dined in house both nights and portions were generous and good value but certainly not haute cuisine and the restaurant lacks “atmosphere” but might have more energy when tables are full? Service was quick & efficient & we enjoyed what we ate.
Breakfast offered lots of usual choices, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, juices as well as fresh cooked selection from the menu.
What this hotel lacked in atmosphere it makes up with good service from friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay & would return if up that way again.

Great place for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly, didn't wait too long to check in. Decent sized bathroom and free WiFi amongst a smart TV was a bonus.

The only reason for marking down by one star was due to the thin walls so we could easily hear the rooms next door in the bathrooms or sometimes talking. Otherwise, would happily come back again!

This is a fantastic hotel, very comfortable and well equipped rooms. The restaurant is lovely and the veggie burger is one of the nicest I have ever had. Wonderful, friendly staff and then a really nice breakfast, again well served.
Stayed with my grown up nephew and husband and had a family room which was fantastic. Totally recommended and will definitely use again. Thank you for such a great stay.

We did not stay at the hotel as we only live 30 miles away but as frequent visitors to Aber we are always looking for nice places to eat. This was not one of them. For the price of the meal we were expecting great things but were very disappointed in the quality of the food we were served and the general atmosphere of the lounge-style "restaurant" which was more of a cafe. The burger and mixed grill were distinctly average and overpriced and there were far too many chips, one side would have been enough between two. The sausages were pink and dense inside and very cheap and tasteless and the "grilled" tomato almost raw and unpleasant. The two lamb cutlets were wafer thin and had been trimmed so extremely small.
The onion "rings" were actually onion lumps and so wet the batter slid off and was soggy inside. Some mushrooms would have been nice. For the price point I would have expected branded condiments not Bookers own brand sachets, and there was only salad cream, no mayo. There was zero atmosphere, not helped by a member of staff holding court on the table behind us doing paperwork and discussing pillow protectors - get an office! We got the impression this is very much a business hotel and overpriced for what they offer, but companies will pay the rate.
